Review of built-in dishwashers 60 cm

“How did I live before?!” – exclaim the happy owners of dishwashers. It seems that we managed without dishwashers, but with its appearance everything changes radically. And if you look, the range and number of different models of dishwashers on the market is only growing, this only means one thing: the product is in demand. Although 60 cm dishwashers are not the most popular, they have a lot of advantages, which we will discuss in the article.

Types of built-in PMMs

Dishwashers with a width of 60 cm can be either fully built-in or partially built-in. Depending on the dimensions, these are either full-size machines with a height of 82-83 cm and a depth of 55-60 cm, or compact machines that differ from full-size ones in height - 48-60 cm.

As a rule, full-size models are the most spacious, their loading can be up to 17 sets, the average capacity of cars is 13-15 sets.

The main advantage of such dishwashers is that they can wash large frying pans, pots and baking trays. In addition, full-sized machines often have more programs and additional functions. As for compact models with a width of 60 cm, they are designed for 6-8 sets. Their main advantage is that they require less space. People even install them under the sink, in the absence of other placement options.

German dishwashers Bosch and Siemens

Bosch appliances are one of the most popular on the market, especially dishwashers. All built-in models with a width of 60 cm, depending on the number of modes, can be divided into three categories:

1. basic models with 3-4 washing programs;
2. optimal, having 5 programs;
3. advanced models with 6 to 8 modes and additional functions.

Examples of basic Bosch models include dishwashers labeled SMV 30D30, SMV 47L10, SMV 48M30. The Bosch SMV 30D30 model is perhaps the noisiest among the others, the noise indicator is 52 dB. To wash dishes for 12 people, she will spend 14 liters of water and 1.05 kW/h of energy. You can't call such a car economical. The modes include “Economical”, “Normal” and “Fast”. There are indicators to alert you of the remaining detergent and a sound signal for the end of the program. But the protection against leaks is only partial, which is not surprising for a budget model.

Four-program dishwashers can be considered more efficient from this series. Thus, the Bosch SMV 47L10 is designed for 13 sets of dishes, and the Bosch SMV 48M30 – for 14. Water consumption in the first is reduced to 12 liters, in the second to 10. In addition, the SMV 48M30 model can be called quiet, because the noise level is 46 dB. The four programs include: “Intensive”, “Fast”, “Economic” and “Automatic” washing. Thanks to the water purity sensor, the machine itself selects the washing time and the amount of detergent. These are good models that have a complete protection system. The slight difference in technical parameters is also reflected in the price: the SMV 47L10 model will cost $360, and the SMV 48M30 will cost $450.

Five-program dishwashers Bosch SMV 59T10 and Bosch SMV 59T20 operate very quietly, not exceeding a noise level of 44 dB. At the same time, the first fully built-in model will spend 9 liters of water to wash 13 sets, and the second, with a capacity of 14 sets, will spend 11 liters. Both models are equipped with full protection and condensation drying.

Note! These models feature a pre-soaking mode for dishes, which will allow you to easily wash the dishes accumulated during the day.

In our opinion, the fully built-in model SMV 59T10 wins in terms of functionality, since among the five modes, in addition to automatic, there is a “delicate” mode (for crystal and fragile dishes) and an intensive mode. In addition, the VarioSpeed ​​function will, if necessary, reduce washing time by increasing the water supply speed. Availability heat exchanger will provide better drying quality. But all these seemingly minor improvements will cost $890, while the SMV 59T20 costs $520. The price difference is too noticeable.

Let's consider built-in premium models with advanced functionality, for example, Bosch SMV 69T90 and Bosch SMI 88TS11R. Both dishwashers can efficiently wash 14 sets of dishes using 10 liters of water. At the same time, the noise level of the first model with 6 modes is 42 dB, and the second model with 8 modes is only 41 dB (this is the minimum that Bosch is capable of).

These built-in dishwashers not only have a protection system, detergent and time indicators, but also other “goodies” in the form of additional functions. Thus, the SMV 69T90 model has the HygienePlus function, which means that in addition to hot water treatment, the dishes are treated with hot steam. In addition to this function, the SMI 88TS11R model also has:

• VarioSpeedPlus (reduction of washing time by 66%);
• Extra Drying;
• night program.

So, the SMV 69T90 model from Bosch outperforms the five-program SMV 59T10 model in all respects, even in price.Its price is $840. The advanced built-in dishwasher SMI 88TS11R costs about $950.

We decided not to ignore the German built-in dishwashers Siemens, which are produced under the control of the Bosch concern. But despite this, they have their own characteristics.

For example, Siemens SK 76M544 is a partially built-in dishwasher with a display placed on the facade. To wash 6 sets of dishes, you will need about 8 liters of water. The machine is quite quiet (45 dB), equipped with a full protection system. The advantage of the model is its reduced energy consumption - only 0.62 kW/h. Six washing programs provide premium washing, and the height-adjustable basket makes it easy to load different dishes. This built-in machine is well suited for a small kitchen; with a width of 60, the height is 45.4 cm, but for the stylish design and German quality you will have to pay $560.

The Siemens SC 76M522 dishwasher is slightly larger than the previous model; with a width of 60, the height is 60 cm, this makes it possible to efficiently wash dishes for 8 people, using 9 liters of water. The good thing is that it even fits baking sheets. Model Siemens SC 76M522 partially built into furniture. The functionality is no different from the model described above. Price: $580.

Siemens SN 64D070 is a fully built-in full-size dishwasher. In about 140 minutes it can wash dishes for 13 people, using 12 liters of water. In terms of technical characteristics, the machine is comparable to four-program machines from Bosch. There is a downside - it is a little noisy (50 dB) and energy-consuming (1.05 kW/h). But all the basic functions, indicators, and sound notifications are there. The protection system is also complete.And with all this, Siemens SN 64D07 costs $360, in contrast to the same Bosch SMV 48M30 for $450.

Hansa dishwashers

Many people will think that 60 cm wide built-in dishwashers from the Chinese manufacturer Hansa are not reliable and will break immediately after purchase. There is some truth in this - Chinese technology is not as reliable as German technology, but you can’t argue with the fact that there are decent models that work for several years. This is also noted by users; here are a couple of examples.

Hansa ZIM 628 EH is a fully built-in machine with a width of 60 cm that will wash dishes for 14 people in 140 minutes, using 12 liters of water. This dishwasher cannot be called noisy, because the noise does not exceed 47 dB. The most interesting thing is that the model has 8 programs. You can wash crystal and other fragile dishes. The machine can consume both regular detergents and 3-in-1 tablets. The complete protection system will not fail in case of leaks. For $240, this package is simply gorgeous.

Hansa ZIM 636 EH - this fully built-in dishwasher model differs from the previous one:

• number of programs – only 6;
• protection against water leakage - only partial;
• start delay time – from 3 to 9 hours (in the previous model from 1 to 24 hours);
• water consumption – 13 l;
• there is no end sound signal;
• and accordingly the price is $210.

Dishwashers from Electrolux

There is a wide range of built-in machines with a width of 60 cm among Electrolux brand appliances; these are not so much popular dishwashers as German ones, but they also have their own niche of consumers.

Model Electrolux ESL 6380 RO is a fully built-in dishwasher with loading of 12 place settings. This machine offers to wash dishes in one of 6 modes, with pre-soaking if necessary. The machine runs quietly.Indicators, a “beam on the floor”, a holder for glasses - all this is there, but there is no complete protection against leaks. And the price is quite high: $590.

The Electrolux ESL 6810 RO dishwasher is also fully built-in, but with better technical characteristics. During operation, it is practically inaudible, the noise is only 42 dB. Water consumption for 12 sets is 10 l. In addition, the choice of programs has been increased to 8, and there is convenient lighting inside the camera. Turbo drying will allow you to dry your dishes efficiently. This model, worthy of purchase, costs only 40 thousand rubles.

So, there are not so few models of built-in dishwashers with a width of 60 cm. We have only looked at a small fraction of what the market offers. These are mainly models in the mid-price category, optimal in functionality, easy to operate and safe to use. Be careful when choosing, then your purchase will be a joy.
