Nevertheless, the craftsmen are still interested in the device of such a technique and want to collect it, so we have no choice but to offer them all the necessary information in this article.

Why do we need such a washing machine?

But it is worth noting that an ultrasonic washing machine is a fairly simple device that can easily assemble at home any craftsman with initial knowledge in the field of electronics.

An ultrasonic washing machine is assembled from improvised means, often even no semiconductor parts need to be bought, and the circuit is very simple.

Why do you need to assemble such a washing machine with your own hands, if you can easily buy it in the commission for a couple of dollars and then use it as much as you like while your nerves are strong?

Reasoning like this, we incorrectly assess the motivation of an experienced homemade. It is often interesting to simply study the principle of operation of the device and then assemble it with your own hands, which does not matter further. Often, after the problem is successfully solved, the self-made man throws the assembled device away, without even thinking about using it. We also assembled a home-made ultrasonic washer for the sake of principle, and not because each of us dreams of washing it. So with pleasure we will share our experience with you and it does not matter what goals you pursue when assembling this device.

What do you need?

An ultrasonic washing machine is a simple electronic device, but some simple equipment will be required to assemble it: a multimeter, a soldering iron, a micro drill for drilling holes for semiconductor elements, a screwdriver, an awl, and a household hair dryer. You will also need materials for the search of which you may have to thoroughly rummage in your barn, pantry or garage. We will need:

  • a piezoceramic element or simply a piezoelectric element;alarm board
  • power supply without transformer;
  • pulse generating module;
  • a small plastic box about 4x4 cm;
  • glue "Moment";
  • tube of silicone sealant;
  • solder;
  • phone charging;
  • board from an electronic alarm clock, phone or Chinese radio.

In our case, we will take the old charger from the phone Siemens and a board from a Chinese electronic alarm clock, as well as a plastic case from a burnt doorbell. Other details are on the list.

We took a payment from an electronic alarm clock because it can be turned into an ultrasonic washing machine with a minimum of alterations. The ultrasonic washing circuit and the Chinese electronic alarm clock are very close.

We make the device

Before you start assembling an ultrasonic washer with your own hands, we will familiarize ourselves with its scheme. As we have already noted, there is nothing complicated, in fact, you need to put together the details of charging from the phone and electronic alarm clock.

  1. open the case of the burned doorbell and throw out all the guts from there;
  2. we glue the piezoelectric element to the inside of the case;
  3. we solder the wires to this element with our own hands as shown in the figure below, it is not necessary to observe the polarity in this case;

  4. we bring the wire outside the housing and fix it at the base of the housing;
  5. fill the insides of the box together with the glued piezoelectric element with sealant, it is not necessary to regret the sealant, since it is necessary to provide reliable waterproofing, since the box will need to be lowered into the water;
  6. Dry the sealant with a hairdryer, and then twist the box.

Next, we rework the power supply, as indicated by the circuit. We take out his board, we find rectifier diodes and a four-hundred-volt capacitor. We get rid of the capacitor. We solder 3 IN4007 diodes into the board. We solder the wires coming from the box with the piezoelectric element to the secondary winding of the transformer. Wiring must be well insulated.
