If there is no time to wash the laundry in time, then it accumulates and is waiting in the wings. Placing several baskets with dirty linen in the bathroom can be quite difficult. What is the way out of this situation? Of course, a special cabinet under the washing machine, which easily accommodates several baskets with dirty laundry. But in stores such an element of furniture is a rarity, so it is better to make such an exclusive cabinet for yourself.

How to make a stand yourself

The cabinet under the washing machine is like a stand on which the machine will then be installed.

In this project, designed for 2 automatic washing machines, the crossbars must be taken 5, and the size of the base should be 150 X 67 cm.

We connect the guide boards with furniture screws with transverse ones, before drilling holes at the junction points so that the screwed head is not above the surface of the board. The hats will be in the recesses and plastic caps will be attached on top of them, in harmony with the color of the cabinet under the washing machine.

We fasten to the resulting base chipboard or plywood sheets. The plywood thickness must be at least 8 mm. Screw hats are best filled with wooden filler so that the surface of the cabinet is flat. Otherwise, when using it, the laundry baskets will cling to the protruding hats of the screws. Then we make one more base - the top one.

On the prepared legs of the future bedside table, you need to attach corners that will be attached to the upper and lower bases. To do this, it is better to tighten the screws designed for wood and a corner that will be attached to 2 surfaces. It is better to bolt the corners to the guide boards. They make the connection more durable.

Now it remains only to close on top the bases with prepared boards made of chipboard, fix them with screws and fill all the holes with modern wooden filler. In conclusion, it remains to give the cabinet under the washing machine a salable appearance. To do this, it must be treated with wood stain and coated with a special varnish or painted in a suitable paint.

Installation of a pedestal

The legs of the bedside table should be ennobled with a special decorative element. Everything! The cabinet for the washing machine is made. We install it in the bathroom and place containers with linen.
