It is these details that are designed to prevent shaking the machine, maintaining it in a state of equilibrium. When used for a long time, the elements wear out, therefore extraneous noise may appear. The springs that hold the tank lose their elasticity over time, as a result of which it moves and strikes against adjacent parts during washing.

Failure of springs and shock absorbers is the most common cause of knocking. What to do when it really is? There is only one way out - to replace non-functioning parts. To do this, it is necessary to carry out a number of important actions.

1. Disconnect the top housing cover.
2. Raise the tank as high as possible and secure it to the canopy. The tank can be fixed with any object that is at hand, for example, with a wooden block.
3. Tighten the spring to the side of the drum and gently detach it from the body.
4. Attach a new workpiece in its place.

When all defective elements are replaced, you can lower the tank to its place. After assembling the machine in the order in which it was disassembled. If the rattle has not stopped, you need to understand further.

Balance Problems

Counterweights are designed to provide stability to the typewriter. The item is presented in the form of a heavy concrete block. In most models, the counterweight is mounted immediately under the upper case cover. Thanks to this element, the AGR does not shake and does not jump when the drum rotates at high speeds.

In the process of using the washer, the fasteners holding the unit relax. The counterweight begins to oscillate and hit the walls of the bank. It is not difficult to cope with this breakdown, you just need to get to the counterweight and tighten all the fasteners.

To do this, disconnect the upper wall of the housing, inspect the concrete block and tighten its fastenings more firmly. If after these manipulations the part continues to hang, you can try to unscrew the bolts and fit additional washers on them. With the help of washers, a loose stone will hold better.

An item hit the tank

The rattle in the Indesit washing machine can be provoked by a solid foreign object clogging in the tank. This problem is much more serious than the previous ones, since the system can simply jam at one point. To remove the cause of the noise, you must turn off the machine from the network and begin to disassemble it.

If you don’t remove the object that got inside the structure in time, it can lead to breaking through the wall of the plastic tank, then you will need quite a serious repair of the AGR.

So, after the machine is de-energized, try to get a foreign object through the hole for the heating element. To do this, do the following:

• disconnect the washer from the house utilities;
• allow yourself easy access to the back of the cabinet;
• remove the back cover by unscrewing the fixing screws;
• disconnect the contacts of the heater;
• remove the retaining nut;
• grasp the heater and gently swaying, remove it from the tank.

Pull out the heater carefully so as not to damage the wiring.

After the heating element is removed from the case, put your hand into the free hole and try to get a foreign object. If the cavity is too narrow and the hand does not crawl, light the hole with a flashlight and remove the desired object with wire. When you succeed in implementing your plan, you can assemble the washing machine in the reverse order and install it in its original place.

Rarely, there are times when a knock on the washer appears due to the destruction of the bearings. You can check them by removing the back wall of the housing. Carefully examine the central part of the pulley. If the bearing is defective, grease will leak from there. Such smudges are very easy to see with the naked eye.
