During this time, the salt particles will eliminate the yellowness of the material and give it shine and gloss. If you need to clean kitchen curtains that are saturated with grease, dirt and soot, you will have to strengthen the composition with dishwashing detergent or baking soda.
Wash. Organza curtains can be washed with minimal force. Moreover, it is enough to simply knead the product with your hands, ensuring free penetration of the cleaning powder into the fabric structure. There is no need to transfer the tulle to another water; you can only add vinegar to the solution to increase the shine of the material.

Twisting, rubbing and squeezing organza is strictly prohibited!

Rinsing. Rinsing also takes place in a gentle mode. It is enough to drain the old water, take a full bath of cold water and gently rinse the tulle, repeating these steps until the water is completely transparent. In the last “run” it is recommended to add a small amount of blue, which will help the fabric regain its original freshness.

It is allowed to refresh organza in an automatic machine, but hand washing is the best solution. By controlling the pressure and temperature of the water, you can protect the material as much as possible from destruction and damage, thanks to which the curtains will last much longer. But for the absence of risks you will have to pay with personal effort and time.

Tips for getting rid of stains

Due to the fact that light organza curtains are often hung in the kitchen, sometimes you have to deal with severe contamination. Stubborn stains from grease or soot cannot be removed with powder alone - high-quality bleaching is necessary.But using a standard stain remover is strictly prohibited, since the delicate structure of the fabric is easily damaged and destroyed.

However, this does not mean that the contaminated tulle will have to be thrown away. Experienced housewives have come up with special compositions for delicate fabrics from folk remedies that can carefully and effectively remove even old stains. It is enough to mix four tablespoons of acetic acid, a few drops of ammonia and a spoonful of salt.

Before soaking, apply the composition strictly to contaminated areas. The stains are moistened with a soap solution, treated with a “stain remover” and left for 5-7 minutes. The recommended time cannot be exceeded, as even a 10-minute delay can cause deformation of the tissue structure.

The nuances of whitening

If not just individual areas of the fabric have been damaged by dust and dirt, but the entire tulle has turned yellow or gray, bleaching is necessary. It is logical that, by analogy with stain remover, using universal bleach is too risky. It is better to turn to folk remedies again.
