Drive belt, tachometer or engine

As a result, the machine performs washing and rinsing normally, since these stages of the program do not require high-speed rotation of the drum. As for spinning, serious problems arise here. Even if the spin still starts, the set of laundry pressed in this way can be safely wrung out later with your hands.

With the drive belt extended, even a working collector motor of the washing machine is not able to rotate the drum at a speed of more than 600 revolutions per minute. Although, of course, you need to take into account the degree of wear of the belt, but if you resort to rough calculations, this is how it turns out. This problem is solved quite simply. You need to buy a new belt and make a replacement. However, keep in mind that the belt must be original.

The machine can squeeze the laundry more or less qualitatively at a speed of at least 800 rpm, if the speed is lower, the laundry will remain wet.

Electronics defective

As you know, the electronic control unit is the brain of a modern washing machine that controls all its systems. There are semiconductor elements in it that are needed to control the pump, pressure switch or engine. If, due to a voltage drop, moisture, or for some other reason, one of these elements simply burns out, the “home assistant” will cease to function normally.

To solve this problem, you will have to find the faulty element, carefully so as not to damage the small tracks, solder it, and then solder in its place a new, similar semiconductor element. If you can hardly understand the electronic parts of the washing machine or do not understand at all, it is better not to undertake this work.
