Everyone knows that the water that is supplied to our apartments is rich in various impurities that make it hard. How does the filter look and work?

The salt filter is designed to prevent chemical reactions in the water leading to the formation of harmful deposits. How it works? The device itself resembles a transparent flask filled with crystals and closed with a knob cap.

1. The crystals inside are polyphosphates. They combine with water and “paralyze” the calcium and magnesium molecules that form salts. Accordingly, substances do not react with other impurities and do not contribute to the appearance of deposits and precipitation.
2. The flask is made transparent in order to be able to observe the level of polyphosphate content. Gradually they dissolve in water and decrease in quantity. As a rule, one bookmark is enough for 365 washings.
3. The cover is provided with two openings to which water pipes are connected.

Attention! When you refill the filter with polyphosphates, turn off the water supply to the unit and disconnect it from the power supply in order to avoid an accident.

Filter mounting

Before installing the filter, turn off the water supply in your apartment, because the device is mounted on a branch of the water pipe that is responsible for collecting water into the machine. To install a filter device:

• disconnect the inlet hose through which water enters the machine;
• attach a filter to the pipe, the thread of the device, as a rule, fits the thread on the pipes, so this should not cause problems;
• then connect the hose to the filter so that the device is between the pipe and the hose.
