Water remains in the washing machine compartment in the washing machine

Water remains in the washing machine compartment in the washing machineIf, after the next wash, you notice that there is water left in the detergent drawer, don’t postpone the washing machine diagnostics for later, you need to do the procedure in the near future. A problem of this kind can appear in absolutely any device, regardless of the brand and model of the machine. Stagnant water in the AC compartment indicates a malfunction in the system. We will understand why the liquid does not drain from the dispenser and what it may be connected with.

What should be checked?

You can carry out system diagnostics yourself if you know what nuances to pay attention to first of all. There may be several reasons for the accumulation of fluid in the compartment.

  1. Under what pressure does water enter the system? Perhaps the pressure in the water supply system is very low, respectively, the pressure of the water will be weak. Identify insufficient pressure by listening to the operation of the washer. If the machine draws water for an unusually long time, while making rustling sounds, this indicates either insufficient pressure in the water supply system or incomplete opening of the inlet valve.
  2. Is the conditioner-rinse agent properly poured into the tray? Perhaps in a hurry you mixed up the sections and simply poured the product into another compartment.check if the flush channel is clogged
  3. Is there a blockage in the flush channel of the air conditioner. Particles of rinsing agent settle on the walls of the nozzle, the drain hole is becoming smaller. Ultimately, this leads to the fact that water accumulates in the section.
  4. Is the dosage of the air conditioner met? Some users believe that if you pour a lot of money, then things will be even softer and more aromatic. In fact, the effect of such redundancy will be the opposite - the rinse will dry, clog the channel and simply will not go into the system.
  5. Do you use a quality rinse aid? A too viscous, sticky conditioner can also cause blockages in the drain hose.

All of the above factors can cause water to remain in the washing machine. After checking under what pressure the water is supplied to the system, if the filling valve is functioning properly, if the drain hose of the air conditioner is blocked, if too much rinse agent is poured into the dispenser, the cause of the problem can be eliminated.

Check and clean the filter mesh

What should I do if I need to clean the inlet filter of an automatic washing machine? In fact, this procedure is very simple, does not require any preparation and special knowledge. If you follow the walkthrough described below, you can clean it in 10 minutes. The algorithm of actions will be as follows:you need to check the mesh filter of the washing machine

  • disconnect the automatic machine, turn off the tap for supplying water to the washer;
  • disconnect the inlet hose from the housing. Note that there is some water in the tube, so it is advisable to put a dry rag on the floor;
  • find the filter, use a pair of pliers to remove it from the opening of the filling valve;
  • clean the filter screen well with water. For more thorough cleaning, you can soak the element in water with the addition of citric acid;
  • after the filter mesh has dried, install it in its original place.

Further assembly of the washing machine occurs in the reverse order. It is necessary to screw the inlet hose to the body, open the shut-off valve, which is responsible for the free flow of water into the system. Inspect the attachment point of the hose to the machine, make sure that there is no leakage. After that, you can turn on the washing machine in the mains and start the washing mode, so you check that the water is taken into the tank freely. Perhaps it was precisely because of the contamination of the filter element that the water in the air conditioning compartment remained after washing.

If the filling valve is broken

In some cases, water does not leave the detergent drawer due to a failure of the filler valve. You can replace the part and fix the washing machine on your own. First, find where the item is located. In frontal washers, the filling valve is located in the upper part of the unit, in machines with a vertical type of loading - from the bottom. The procedure for replacing a part will be as follows:the CM filling valve is broken

  • disconnect the machine from the power supply, close the shut-off valve, disconnect the inlet hose from the valve;
  • provide yourself with free access to the part; for this, the front cover is removed from the front doors, and the side wall from the vertical ones. To remove it, just unscrew the retaining walls of the bolts;
  • disconnect the supply wiring and all nozzles from the filler valve;
  • remove the valve from the body. The element can be screwed with screws or secured with plastic snaps. To remove the part, you will have to unscrew the bolts or loosen the latches;
  • rotate the filling valve and remove it from the system.

In order to properly connect all wiring and hoses to a new part, it is better to photograph the initial wiring diagram before disassembling, this will allow you not to make a mistake during subsequent reassembly.

Next, you need to install a serviceable valve, fix it in the body, connect the wires, pipes, put the body cover back in place, that is, do everything that you did when disassembling, but in the reverse order. At the end of the assembly, plug the machine’s power cord into a power outlet and start washing, so you check the device for operability.
