What does this inscription mean, do washing machines really produce in Russia, and they can be called Russian, or is it just a marketing ploy. Many people remember domestic appliances of domestic manufacture with high quality and a long service life, but can we say the same about Russian washing machines, if any, let's face it.

Production or assembly in Russia: what is the difference?

The production of washing machines in Russia has been going on since Soviet times. Everyone knows such machines of the activator type as "Baby", "Ob", "Fairy", even semi-automatic models were produced. But as for the production of automatic washing machines, then the first Soviet washing machine can be called a machine "Vyatka-12", made February 23, 1981. However, even this machine is not 100% Soviet, because it was assembled according to the schemes of Ariston washing machines.

Today, the washing machines of the Kirov factory Vyatka cannot be completely called Russian either, since in 2005 the company was bought by the Candy campaign. They updated all equipment and continued to develop the production of washing machines, introducing their technologies. Such machines can only be called machines assembled in Russia, but not Russian.

Important! Washing machines of Russian production can only be considered those that are produced under its own brand, assembled using its own technologies. They are also called domestic cars.

Most of the enterprises that assemble the washing machines are representative offices of well-known foreign companies (Germany, Italy, Korea) or enterprises that have bought the right to use a well-known trademark and brand. About washing machines manufactured at such enterprises, they say that they are only assembled by the hands of Russian workers.

Brands of washing machines

In Russia, the assembly of washing machines under the following brands:

• Indesit and Hotpoint Ariston - the production of machines under these Italian brands is carried out at the plant in Lipetsk;
• LG - production of machines with a Korean brand is carried out in the Moscow region (the city of Ruza);
• Samsung - cars with this Korean brand are manufactured in the Kaluga region;
• Beko and Vestel - cars with Turkish brands are made in the Vladimir region (Kirzhach and Aleksandrov);
• Bosch and Siemens assemble in St. Petersburg;
• Candy - released at the Vyatka factory in Kirov;
• Atlant - cars under the Belarusian brand are made in Moscow.

Automatic washing machines produced in Russia are produced at the Far Eastern factory "Ocean". They represent both models with frontal and vertical loading of linen. It is best to choose washing machines of those brands that are assembled from original spare parts, and the assembly process is properly monitored. And remember that even expensive equipment can break.
