Russian-made washing machines

Washing machines from RussiaRecently, washing machines with the words "Made in Russia" have become increasingly common, which undoubtedly aroused the interest of buyers. What does this inscription mean, do washing machines really produce in Russia, and they can be called Russian, or is it just a marketing ploy. Many people remember domestic appliances of domestic manufacture with high quality and a long service life, but can we say the same about Russian washing machines, if any, let's face it.

Production or assembly in Russia: what is the difference?

The production of washing machines in Russia has been going on since Soviet times. Everyone knows such machines of the activator type as "Baby", "Ob", "Fairy", even semi-automatic models were produced. But as for the production of automatic washing machines, then the first Soviet washing machine can be called a machine "Vyatka-12", made February 23, 1981. However, even this machine is not 100% Soviet, because it was assembled according to the schemes of Ariston washing machines.Vyatka washing machine 12

Today, the washing machines of the Kirov factory Vyatka cannot be completely called Russian either, since in 2005 the company was bought by the Candy campaign. They updated all equipment and continued to develop the production of washing machines, introducing their technologies. Such machines can only be called machines assembled in Russia, but not Russian.

Important! Washing machines of Russian production can only be considered those that are produced under its own brand, assembled using its own technologies. They are also called domestic cars.

Most of the enterprises that assemble the washing machines are representative offices of well-known foreign companies (Germany, Italy, Korea) or enterprises that have bought the right to use a well-known trademark and brand. About washing machines manufactured at such enterprises, they say that they are only assembled by the hands of Russian workers.

Brands of washing machines

Samsung factory in RussiaIn Russia, the assembly of washing machines under the following brands:

  • Indesit and Hotpoint Ariston - the production of machines under these Italian brands is carried out at the plant in Lipetsk;
  • LG - production of machines with a Korean brand is carried out in the Moscow region (the city of Ruza);
  • Samsung - cars with this Korean brand are manufactured in the Kaluga region;
  • Beko and Vestel - cars with Turkish brands are made in the Vladimir region (Kirzhach and Aleksandrov);
  • Bosch and Siemens assemble in St. Petersburg;
  • Candy - released at the Vyatka factory in Kirov;
  • Atlant - cars under the Belarusian brand are made in Moscow.

Automatic washing machines produced in Russia are produced at the Far Eastern factory "Ocean". They represent both models with frontal and vertical loading of linen. Basically, Russian washing machines are the simplest activator washing machines with and without spin, loved by summer residents because of their small size and mobility. An example of such a machine is the Siberia semiautomatic machine, manufactured at a plant in Omsk.

The Evgo company, located in Khabarovsk, is also engaged in the production of automatic washing machines. But these machines can be conditionally called Russian, since they are assembled from Chinese components.

Note! Very often, companies fake cars of popular brands and indicate the country of origin of the brand, and not the country where the car was assembled, as the country of manufacture.

Features of Russian washing machines

Features of the production of washing machines in Russia are in the characteristics of market demand. Domestic consumers are interested in cars with the following characteristics:

  • frontal type of loading of linen;
  • small-sized machines with shallow depth;
  • large load of linen;
  • economical in energy and water consumption.

Unlike Europeans, our people prefer washing machines with front-loading, it is precisely on such machines that most of the production is oriented. Only among the "washers" from Ariston there are models with vertical loading of the Russian assembly. Most of the campaigns are also focused on the production of non-standard equipment. These are washing machines:

  • with a reduced depth of 50 to 55 cm are produced at the factories of Beco, Ariston, Atlant. Kandy;
    Full-size machines are available only from manufacturers Kandy, Ariston, Atlant and LG.
  • narrow cars with a depth of 49 to 39 cm. The most common cars with a depth of 40 cm, and are found with a depth of 39, 42, 45, 47 cm;
  • heavy duty machines with a depth of 36 to 33 cm, such machines are under the brands Kandy, Ariston, Atlant, Indesit, Beko.

Russian-built washing machinesWith narrow dimensions, washing machines lose their maximum load, but in Russian-built machines this problem is solved. So, for example, the Kandy machine at 33 cm depth erases 4.5 kg of laundry, at a depth of 40 cm, the load increases to 7 kg. Standard Russian-built washing machines are produced with a load of up to 8 kg.

If you choose a washing machine assembled in Russia, then it is only equipped with full protection against leakage and protection against power surges. Leakproof machines are from Bosch, Ariston, Indesit, LG. Partial is available in Atlanta and Beco, but they also have protection against power surges.

As for energy consumption, like European ones, domestic-made cars have efficiency class A. The average water consumption also does not exceed 45 liters. This is ensured not only by reducing the amount of linen, but also through the use of the latest technologies, such as Smart Technology, Inverter Direct Drive.

Value for money build

The production and assembly of washing machines in Russia has led to a decrease in the quality of equipment. But at the same time, the price also decreased, which made it available to the majority of the population of our country. For several years of operation of machines of Russian assembly, the masters of service centers came to the conclusion that such machines are one of the most unreliable.

Statistics show that most often Indesit washing machines of Russian assembly get into repairs. Also often “Russian Boshes” are found in repairs, the price of which is much lower than cars of the same brand, but of German assembly. Short-lived Russian cars Beko, Vestel and Kandy. If we compare the service life of machines assembled in Russia, then it is the shortest.

  • Cars assembled in Russia from Chinese components have been working without failure for 2 years.
  • Russian-made cars from original spare parts (German, Italian, etc.) last an average of 5 years.
  • Chinese cars also serve an average of 5 years.
  • Korean or Italian-built washing machines last up to 8 years.
  • Cars of the French and German assembly can last from 10 to 16 years.
  • The most reliable are washing machines assembled in Austria and Sweden. Their service life, depending on operating conditions, varies from 14 to 20 years.

When buying a washing machine, you need to pay special attention to the country in which it was going. Recently, it will be quite difficult to find washing machines of the original assembly of those brands that are assembled in Russia. For example, Bosch of the German assembly, LG and Samsung of the Korean assembly (mainly Russia and China). Chinese and Russian cars are the cheapest, so the demand for them has grown significantly over the years.

Note! In addition to Russia, washing machines of famous brands are assembled in China, France, Poland, Slovenia. Their quality is also inferior to the original, but wins in relation to the Russian.

    And where to get spare parts in case of what. I have Vyatka Katyusha. True old, so what. The hook on the hatch broke. And what, should I buy a new car because of this? And the old one works well. That's where to get this hook? No nowhere.

    I have Vyatka - Katyusha has been washing for 16 years. I understand that I'm getting old, but I don’t want another. If there were breakdowns, the master fixed it at home. Where to buy one?

    Please tell me if there are washing machines with a standard depth, but narrow along the facade, when savings are needed not in the area of the room, but in the size of furniture and appliances along the wall. I would like a car with dimensions, like those loaded from above, but designed for a countertop. It is not necessary to make the door transparent. How do manufacturers solve such problems? I’m unlikely to ask such a question alone. Really no one thought of such a task?

    Vyatka automatic machine va 160500. It has been working for 30 years. And at least that. I only changed oil seals and bearings. I would buy a new one without hesitation.

    So, gentlemen, Vyatka automatic machine 14 has been working for 15 years. The old owner stood for more than 10 years, 1991 edition :) Honor and praise, it works without fail sometimes and up to three washes per day! Minus - electricity consumption. Low bow to the manufacturers!

  8. Gravatar Sergey Sergei:

    The washing machine Ariston (Italian assembly) has been working with us since 2007 🙂

    We have a Russian-built Bosch machine with leakage protection ... flowed after 2 years of operation! Protection worked, blocked the water. I disassembled it with God's help, and saw that the water supply hose had flown into the washing powder compartment. When assembling, they forgot to put on the clamp, it hung freely on the hose, and the clamp was not worn on the adjacent hose, which, fortunately, did not manage to fly off. I put everything on, drained the water while it works, thank God!

  10. Gravatar Tatyana Tatyana:

    Where can I sell the Vyatka washing machine? It has been idle for 10 years now.

    • Gravatar Vasya Vasya:

      Try it on Avito.
