Production or assembly in Russia: what is the difference?
The production of washing machines in Russia has been going on since Soviet times. Everyone knows such activator-type machines as “Malyutka”, “Ob”, “Fairy”; even semi-automatic models were produced. Important! Only those produced under their own brand and assembled using their own technologies can be considered Russian-made washing machines.They are also called domestically produced cars.
Most of the enterprises that assemble washing machines are representative offices of well-known foreign companies (Germany, Italy, Korea) or enterprises that have purchased the right to use a well-known trademark and brand. About washing machines manufactured at such enterprises, they say that they were only assembled by the hands of Russian workers.
Washing machine brands
In Russia, washing machines are assembled under the following brands:
- Indesit and Hotpoint Ariston - the production of cars under these Italian brands is carried out at the plant in Lipetsk;
- LG - production of cars with the Korean brand is carried out in the Moscow region (Ruza);
- Samsung - cars with this Korean brand are produced in the Kaluga region;
- Beko and Vestel - cars with Turkish brands are manufactured in the Vladimir region (Kirzhach and Alexandrov);
- Bosch and Siemens - assembled in St. Petersburg;
- Candy – produced at the Vyatka plant in Kirov;
- Atlant - cars under the Belarusian brand are produced in Moscow.
Russian-made automatic washing machines are produced at the Far Eastern plant "Ocean". They offer both front-loading and top-loading models. Basically, Russian washing machines are the simplest activator washing machines with and without spin, loved by summer residents because of their small size and mobility. An example of such a machine is the semi-automatic machine “Sibir”, produced at a plant in Omsk.
The Evgo company, located in Khabarovsk, also produces automatic washing machines. But these machines can be conditionally called Russian, since they are assembled from Chinese components.

Features of Russian washing machines
The peculiarities of the production of washing machines in Russia lie in the peculiarities of demand in the market. Domestic consumers are interested in cars with the following characteristics:

With narrow dimensions, washing machines lose maximum load of laundry, but in Russian-assembled machines this problem has been solved. For example, a Kandy machine washes 4.5 kg of laundry at a depth of 33 cm; at a depth of 40 cm, the load increases to 7 kg. Standard Russian-assembled washing machines are produced with a load of up to 8 kg.
If you choose a washing machine assembled in Russia, then only one equipped with full protection against leaks and protection against power surges. Cars from Bosch, Ariston, Indesit, and LG have protection against leaks. Partial ones are available in Atlanta and Beko, they also have protection against power surges.
As for energy consumption, like European ones, domestically assembled machines have efficiency class A. The average water consumption also does not exceed 45 liters. The production and assembly of washing machines in Russia has led to a significant decline in the quality of the equipment. But at the same time, the price also decreased, which made it affordable for the majority of the population of our country. After several years of operating Russian-assembled machines, service center technicians came to the conclusion that such machines are among the most unreliable.
Statistics show that Russian-assembled Indesit washing machines are most often repaired. Also, “Russian Bosch” often end up being repaired, the price of which is an order of magnitude lower than cars of the same brand, but made in Germany. Russian machines Beko, Vestel and Kandy are short-lived. If we compare the service life of machines assembled in Russia, it is the shortest.

Lately it will be quite difficult to find washing machines of the original assembly of those brands that are assembled in Russia. Cars made in China and Russia are the cheapest, so the demand for them has increased significantly over the past few years.

Vyatka automatic va 160500. It has been working for 30 years. And at least that's it. I only changed the seals and bearings. I would buy a new one without hesitation.
So, gentlemen, Vyatka automatic 14 has been working for 15 years. The old owner had it for more than 10 years, manufactured in 1991 :) Honor and praise, it works flawlessly sometimes and up to three washes a day! The downside is electricity consumption. Low bow to the producers!

We have a Russian-assembled Bosch machine with protection against leaks... it leaked after 2 years of operation! The protection worked and shut off the water. I took it apart with God's help and saw that the water supply hose to the washing powder compartment had fallen off. During assembly, they forgot to put on the clamp, it was hanging loosely on the hose, and the clamp was not put on on the adjacent hose, which, fortunately, did not have time to fly off. I put everything on, drained the water while it was working, thank God!
