And there is a simple logic in this: whichever manufacturer shines more on TV screens and on the Internet is the best. In reality, everything is not so simple. Sometimes, the best ones hide in the shadows, while the worst ones try to appear “in all their glory.” The time has come to compile a rating of companies based on the quality of the dishwashing equipment they produce, let’s do this right now.

The best manufacturers of luxury equipment

When compiling our rating, we faced a rather serious problem. The fact is that different dishwasher manufacturers operate in different price segments. It is incorrect to compare the quality of dishwashers of different price categories, so instead of one large rating, we had to create three small ones, separately for each price category. Let's start with the manufacturers of luxury dishwashers.

S.M.E.G. The undisputed favorite, the leader in the production of the best dishwashing equipment that has ever been mass produced. Firstly, this the quietest and most silent dishwashers. Secondly, SMEG machines are among the most economical in the world. Thirdly, the highest quality materials are used in the production of SMEG equipment. Fourthly, these machines give the best performance in terms of washing quality. And finally, fifthly, SMEG machines are invariably stylish, they use the most advanced technologies and technical solutions.
NEFF.The SMEG company loses a little because it produces cars that are a little noisier and a little less stylish, but otherwise NEFF equipment is very, very good. Some buyers prefer to choose NEFF machines also because such equipment is a little cheaper, although the price difference here is conditional.
Kuppersbusch. A universally recognized manufacturer of dishwashing equipment. It is famous for making machines that last at least 10-15 years. It loses to SMEG and NEFF because it is not as active in introducing new technologies into its dishwashers. In addition, Kuppersbusch’s pricing policy is not so flexible, so their dishwashing equipment is on average one and a half times more expensive than those of their closest competitors. For some models of Kuppersbusch machines the price is not at all justified.

As you can see, the leaders in the production of luxury dishwashing equipment are manufacturers from Germany and this is no wonder. Approximately 63% of residents of Germany cannot do without a dishwasher, and in Russia only 18% of people use them.

The best in the mid-price segment

Now we present the top manufacturers of dishwashers for the home in the middle price category. The middle category is famous for its high-quality equipment, which, although it does not have the most advanced innovative solutions, is affordable for a much larger number of people. Not everyone can afford to buy an elite product.

Siemens. Although this German concern has lost its leadership in the production of luxury dishwashers, it has gained a foothold in the lower segment and is so firmly entrenched that no competitor has been able to move it from there for 5 years now. Siemens offers good prices for good dishwashers.Siemens machines are traditionally good: they wash dishes perfectly, are economical, quiet, long-lasting and very stylish.
Asko. The Swedes are a little inferior to their German colleagues in build quality, but they win in price. The difference is sometimes quite significant, although the technical characteristics of the models may be the same. Asko cars are also slightly less economical, which is why they take an honorable second place in the ranking.
Bosch. A well-known German brand that has climbed to third place in the ranking of “middle peasants”. Bosch produces a lot of equipment, but it is very unstable. One model turns out to be super successful, and the other is frankly a failure. Even expensive Bosch machines do not always work for a long time and reliably, although in general there are very good reviews about the manufacturer, and we could not help but think about it.

Third place could have been awarded to Electrolux machines, but lately there have been too many complaints about this technology. Experts and users note a decline in the quality of all Electrolux equipment sold in Russia, which means we will not include it in our rating. We must maintain objectivity.

The best in the budget segment

Companies specializing in narrow dishwashers have penetrated into the budget segment, but unfortunately, even there you will not find Russian, Ukrainian or Belarusian manufacturers. The best budget cars are made by Germans, Swedes and Italians.

Bosch. Dishwashers are produced mainly at the upper end of the budget price segment, but their equipment is undoubtedly the highest quality. European-assembled machines feature high-quality parts and impeccable performance. A number of inexpensive Bosch dishwashers have received the highest user rating, that's saying something!
Indesit.The Italian company once became famous for the highest percentage of defects among the equipment it produces. In recent years, production has been restructured and now amazing and inexpensive equipment is coming off Indesit's assembly lines. However, many users “out of old memory” do not give the manufacturer the highest score, and specialists, as it turns out, are vindictive people, so only second place.
Electorlux. The Swedes did not rise higher than third place. The reason lies in the fact that their successful models of budget dishwashers are mostly old: three or four years ago. New developments have not yet sparkled, there is a large percentage of defects, and the quality of the main components has noticeably decreased. The brand is more than recognizable, so a large number of people give it their preference.

This is the rating we got. We tried to be as objective as possible and took into account the opinions of not only dishwasher repair specialists, but also ordinary customers.
