For example, for built-in models, the width, depth, height should not exceed the following values ​​of 50 cm, 60 cm and 81.5 cm, respectively. Moreover, the departure from the set parameters should not exceed 5 mm.

Such stringent standards ensured the perfect fit of manufactured dishes and their capacity. In addition to this, other standards were stipulated in the standard, here are some of them:

• power cord at least 2 m;
• the distance between the wall and the rear wall of the dishwasher is at least 5 cm, which will ensure normal ventilation;

Important! It is necessary to take this gap into account in advance, even at the stage of furniture manufacturing.

• a dishwasher built in under the sink must have a recess for drainage pipes with a depth of at least 15 cm.

Despite the fact that GOST 27454 ceased to exist, modern models of built-in dishwashers, although they differ in a variety of dimensions, have not gone far from those standards. Here are their main sizes:

• height from 46 to 82 cm;
• width from 45 to 75 cm;
• depth from 48 to 62 cm.

All modern built-in dishwashers can be divided into 4 groups:

• mini-dishwasher, the dimensions of which are WxHxD, 45x46x48 cm, capacity - 5 sets of dishes, which makes it possible to integrate such a machine into a small kitchen set in 6 sq.m .;

• medium - the most common version of the built-in dishwasher, its dimensions: width from 45 to 60 cm, height 85 cm, depth - 62 cm, the capacity of such a dishwasher is 9 sets of dishes, respectively, and energy consumption is greater. Medium-sized cars also include narrow models, whose width is 45 cm;
• large - spacious dishwashers, designed for 12 sets of dishes and more, the dimensions are 75x85x62 cm.
