Sooner or later, the owner of the LG washing machine needs to clean the drain hose with his own hands. It is no secret that the wastewater, passing from the drum to the sewage system, leaves particles of garbage and soap deposits on the machine parts. The rubber walls of the nozzles are no exception, and over time, a thick sticky layer accumulates here, which threatens with a serious blockage. There is only one way out - regularly remove accumulated dirt. How to do this, we learn from the article.

Hose removal

To clean the drain hose of the LG washing machine, it must be disconnected from the machine body and disconnected from the sewer. It is not difficult to do this: it is enough to disconnect the machine, turn the washing machine back, leaning against the wall, and pay attention to the bottom. We cover the space around with rags, open the technical hatch, carefully twist the leakage sensor and find the installation location of the rubber tube. Weaken the holding clamp-clamp and pull the pipe onto itself.

2. Repeat the procedure several times until optimum cleanliness is achieved.
3. Rinse hose under high pressure.

Instead of a Kevlar cable, a home-made analog is suitable: bend one end of a long steel wire with a loop and wrap a piece of fabric tightly around it. The main thing is that the "brush" corresponds to the tube in diameter. At the same time, the cleaning process does not differ - we insert, clean, rinse.

What causes the hose to clog?

Clogging of the hose is almost inevitable: detergent and lint from clothes will still begin to settle on the walls of the tube. Such a blockage is considered natural for all washing machines, regardless of manufacturer and model. However, it is possible to slow down the process of plaque formation if the following recommendations are applied in practice:

• wash clothes in special protective bags;
• do not neglect water softeners;
• after washing, start an “empty” cycle for washing the machine;
• regularly clean the washer;

It is recommended to carry out a comprehensive cleaning of the washing machine at least once every three months.

• use high-quality detergents designed specifically for automatic machines;
• Before loading into the drum, check the pockets of things, shake hair and dust off the fabric.
