Quite a long time ago (11 years ago) our family was given a Brandt washing machine made by Tropikal; it then cost $700. We needed a machine with a vertical loading method, and the gift came in very handy.

The service life declared by the manufacturer is 9 years. All these years the machine worked flawlessly, in the tenth year the evacuation pump failed, which I changed myself and the machine pleased us for another year, after which we had to change the brushes.

The next year, a more serious breakdown occurred, and we still had to say goodbye to the old car and buy a new one. We decided to choose between models from the same company; we didn’t even consider any other.

The choice fell on Brandt WT 10735 E, which has served us faithfully for two years now. By the way, it still cost the same $700. The machine is just as reliable, quiet, does not move even during spinning, “smart” - if the laundry in the drum is unevenly distributed, spinning occurs at low speeds, and the set vibration limit is not exceeded.

Of course, there are a lot of useful options: delayed start, quick wash, various programs for many types of fabrics, and much more. If the water turns off, standby mode is automatically activated. The main thing is that the wife is happy with the purchase and calls it only diminutive words. By the way, we use the car almost every day, no complaints.

But there is one small drawback. The powder container is difficult to clean. And you have to clean it every month, because... We have hard water.

During operation it is noisier than expected. shakes when spinning. it really doesn't jump or move. It washes qualitatively, you can’t say anything even with a quick wash. Like many top-loading machines, it suffers from water pouring out of the door when opened. but it doesn’t get on the floor so it’s not scary. There could be more functions but what to expect for that kind of money. fulfills its main functions and what else is needed.

I am very pleased with the purchase. When choosing, we were looking for a vertical one; before that we also used a vertical one, but we didn’t want another one. It’s convenient to load laundry; you don’t need to bend over to the bin.

Advantages

Quiet operation. The good news is that when the wash is finished, the drum cover is always on top. There are many options for installing programs, you can set your own parameters.

French assembly. Holds 6 kg. Vertical loading. An excellent set of functions for a washing machine in this price category! The instructions are simple, the washing quality is excellent. I can’t say anything about reliability, I’ve been using it for six months.

I was a little disappointed that it vibrates a lot when spinning. Spins at full speed (1000) only at the end of the last rinse. Another disadvantage is that the drum does not remain at the top at the end of the wash cycle. Before this, there was an Ariston, also a vertical one, in which the drum was stably fixed at the top. I think this is a very useful feature for such models.

There are no other models with vertical loading and a drying function in this format, so I chose this one. If there were others, I wouldn’t choose this one - the car has no other advantages. Noisy, shakes when spinning.

When the breakdown occurred, it turned out that there was no branded service, the repairman was absolutely incompetent, there was no one to even file a claim with, the company actually did not exist. Whether it’s Fagor or Polar Industries, you’ll never know. You will be tortured to unravel this chain. Most services don’t want to take it, of course, there is no documentation, you can’t find spare parts, only if you add something by luck, and whether it will work or not is still a question.

Same problem as many others: the powder does not wash out. I suffered for a long time, read the forums, in the end they called a repairman (the machine is under warranty), he quickly tightened something and everything was fixed) he said that it was due to transportation, the bolts had become loose, because of this the water did not reach the right compartment with the powder, but went only in the left one, where the liquid powder is placed. The serviceman also reassured me by saying that in his opinion this was the first and only breakdown))) he says the equipment is reliable, I want to believe it))
