Eared nanny powder is not suitable for children's things, like any other cheap powder with a similar chemical composition. Children's skin can only tolerate soap “painlessly”, and not just any soap, so any powder is a potential allergen. I am the father of three children, so I know what I’m talking about; to wash children’s clothes, you can only use a powder based on laundry soap or one that can be rinsed out of the laundry well.
At first, I also struggled with choosing a powder for children, buying expensive foreign ones based on soap. Then I wised up, gave up and started using regular powder for adult clothes, just chose the one that rinses better. At the same time, when washing children's clothes, I set it to double rinse and no problems. I also tried the eared nanny, I even washed it a couple of times, but it doesn’t rinse out of the laundry well, it remains even after a triple rinse, let alone a double one. So I don’t recommend Eared Nannies even for adult clothing, let alone children’s clothing.

Before Eared Nanny, I washed things with Tide, so it left my skin covered with scabs. Not a single spot with the Eared Nanny.

I’ve been experimenting with powders for a long time, but when my daughter was born I started doing this with a vengeance, because I had to look for a good baby powder. I have tried all sorts of laundry detergents, a total of 3 dozen different powders and gels and nothing suits me. Basically there is one problem, either the powder is too harmful or does not wash well. A more or less ideal ratio of harmfulness and washing quality is Eared Nanny powder. I switched to it a couple of years ago because it washes well:
- stains from fruits, vegetables and berries;
- grass and soil stains;
- stains of grease, oil and other things;
- blood stains;
- traces of sweat, deodorant.
Eared nanny does not have as pronounced a chemical smell as other powders, which indicates a small amount of harmful components, at least this is how it feels.
I wash everything with a big-eared nanny. I put it 1/3 less than the norm, just by experiment I managed to find the ideal proportion for 3-4 kg of laundry, which I constantly put in the washing machine drum. Of course, everyone chooses the powder for themselves, but I’m unlikely to wash things with anything else. Too much money was spent on a variety of expensive and cheap powders.

I tried Eared Nanny powder 2 years ago, even before Arishenka was born, and I really liked it. The laundry after this powder is very soft, delicate and smells pleasant, and it washes a variety of stains better than the vaunted Ariel or Persil. I’ve been using Eared Nanny powder since our eldest daughter, almost 13 years old, was in her first month of life. I’m happy that she doesn’t have any allergies to it, there are, of course, stains that it can’t handle, then I soak the laundry in Vanish stain remover for several hours. In general, I like the powder: there is no strong smell, there are no allergies in the family from it, there is no dust when pouring it, the price is reasonable.
