Reviews of washing powder Luch

Reviews of Luch powderLuch washing powder is well known to our parents, since in Soviet times it was a fairly popular laundry detergent. Currently, the limited liability company "Ekol" has revived this brand, and if you believe the advertising, it produces Beam, adhering to the requirements of the Soviet GOST. How good is this powder? Let's try to find out by collecting real reviews from people.

Good

Anastasia, Balakovo

I've been taking Luch for about six months now, mixing it with Chaika washing powder and with this “post-Soviet mix” I wash things in the washing machine, it turns out very well. The formula of one powder enhances the formula of another. This method was suggested to me by a friend who tried it by accident. Now I get the washing result of a good, expensive powder by mixing two cheap ones and am very pleased.

The powders should be mixed in the following ratio: 2/3 Luch and 1/3 Chaika.

I realized a long time ago that there is no point in overpaying for an expensive, advertised powder. I buy Beam for hand washing at the wholesaler for $0.3 a pack and wash it perfectly. I like hand washing powder a little less, but I only take one pack of it, since I don’t wash it much by hand. But for machine washing, lately I have been taking Luch in soft packaging 2.4 kg. For fun, I compared it with Sarma and Tide powder, in principle it washes no worse, but maybe Tide is a little better, but it also costs an order of magnitude more.

Larisa, Novosibirsk

I have known and loved Luch brand powder for a long time. At one time it was not on sale, or at least I didn’t come across it, so I began to gradually forget about it.But then this powder appeared on the shelves again, I, naturally, buy it and do not know grief. The Beam washes perfectly, although it costs a penny, because it is made using Soviet technology. Great powder!

Bad

Karina, Astrakhan

Once my grandmother and I went to Fix Price and she noticed a powder on the counter, which, by the way, cost just a penny, I think $0.4. The powder was called “Luch”, this name doesn’t mean anything to me, but my grandmother was delighted and said that she used this powder to wash her clothes in her youth. I examined the pack, nothing special, the most ordinary hand washing powder. It is suitable for washing in old machines, but cannot be used in an automatic washing machine.

The Luch laundry detergent, apparently, was in use in the 70s, because I remember what was used for washing in the 80s, and among those powders there was no Luch.

large packs of Luch powderOut of solidarity with my grandmother, I bought myself a pack of Soviet rarities and decided that same day to wash some small clothes, socks, sweatpants and a couple of my husband’s dark T-shirts with it. Evaluation of the result brought only disappointment. The cheap powder showed a cheap result, the stains on the clothes were and still are, it feels like if I washed with regular soap, the dirt would come off better. I don't need that kind of powder, not for any money.

Katerina, Severomorsk

The powder can't be that cheap. This is a simple truth that should have turned me away from buying Luch powder, but I bought it anyway and was once again convinced that the very first thought is usually the most correct. I set the pastel linen wash to 60 degrees cotton, sprinkled this powder and began to patiently wait for the result. In short, it would be better if I washed without powder, what would be the benefit, but the result is the same.What is the manufacturer pouring in there, chalk or something, the effect is absolutely zero. I will never buy this powder again and I don’t recommend it!

Elena, Anapa

I sell washing powders myself, so I’ve already tried a bunch of products and I don’t like any of them. I didn’t really count on anything when I tried Luch and, in principle, I was right. Absolutely nothing special:

  • washes disgustingly;
  • rinses poorly;
  • very dusty;
  • the expense is simply enormous.

Of the advantages, perhaps, we can only highlight the low price and pleasant smell, but I would like something more. Based on the combination of shortcomings, I decided that the powder was not worthy of the owner’s attention.

Luch is a normal powder; I started using it when I was a student, and now I have a family, and I still do my laundry with it. There is no super-powerful formula in it, all the components are the same as 40 years ago, and it washes perfectly. What does this mean? We need to watch less advertising, that’s what messes up our brains the most. Take a cheap normal powder and wash it to your health, and if you need a conditioner or stain remover, add it as needed.

When you wash with an expensive powder, you are essentially putting a cocktail of stain remover, conditioner and who knows what else into the machine. And if things just need to be refreshed, then, firstly, you are once again treating your laundry with unnecessary chemicals, and, secondly, you are throwing money away. Luch, of course, is a very mediocre powder, but just right for everyday washing.

Tatiana, Serov

My sister and I don’t get attached to one powder, we always try something new. Over the past year alone, we have tried a dozen expensive and cheap powders. I didn’t particularly like the Luch laundry detergent, but I can rate it quite highly, since it is the best in its price category. If you use exclusively cheap washing powders, Luch is best suited, but it is not a competitor to expensive powders.

To summarize, we note that you should not think that a cheap powder can outperform an expensive laundry detergent. This, of course, happens sometimes, but not in our case. Let's just say that Beam is one of the best products in the low price category, but in general, it erases very mediocre.

    Disgusting powder, every time you wash it in an automatic washing machine it turns to stone in the powder container. Because of this, little gets into the drum with laundry, and the laundry is not washed. Then you have to dig him out of there!

      You don’t need to put it in the container, but put it in the drum itself.

    I've been using the powder for a long time. It washes colored items well. After washing, there remains a light smell of freshness without excess.
