We have written a lot about front-loading washing machines; apparently it’s the turn of top-loading models. For the uninitiated, let’s explain: in front-loading machines, the hatch is located in the middle of the front wall of the case, while in top-loading washing machines, the hatch is located directly in the case lid. We will devote this publication to the Whirlpool AWE 8730 washing machine, or rather to customer reviews about it. We hope this information will be useful.

When purchasing, I was flattered by the low price and the seller’s promises that the machine would make little noise. Yes, and it’s somehow unusual, all cars have a hatch in the front, but mine has a hatch on top, again it takes up less space. It has one specific disadvantage - a small drum. Agree, 5.5 kg in our age is nothing! The last time I tried to wash my jacket, the machine froze on the spin cycle, I restarted the spin cycle and the same thing happened. Otherwise, no complaints, washes well!

I would happily buy a regular automatic washing machine, especially since it’s cheaper, but I had to buy a Whirlpool AWE 8730. The problem is that we have one small free corner in the bathroom, in which it is impossible to place a horizontal-loading machine, but a vertical one can fit it's good there.

Almost any washing machine fits into our corner, but the fact is that the horizontal machine needs space in the front to open the hatch, but there is just no space in the front.

I can't say that I regretted the purchase. The washing machine turned out to be very good, with all the necessary modern bells and whistles. What's in it?

1. The body is narrow and at the same time tall, which allowed us to save space.
2. A spacious drum of 5.5 kg, although it could be 6 or even 7 kg.
3. Electronic intelligent control, which, however, is simple.
4. Excellent washing programs that provide excellent care for your laundry. It turns out to wash well and carefully.
5. High-quality spin, however, if your items are made of delicate fabric, you should not turn on 1200 revolutions.
6. The machine has the necessary protection against leaks, imbalance, foam and other troubles.

Overall, I don’t regret that life forced me to purchase a top-loading washing machine. Now I'm already used to it and everything suits me. But I’ll be honest, if we had a bathroom of sufficient size, I would not have taken this machine.

What can I say, the machine is quite normal. It washes like everything else, no better, but no worse. It is easy to operate, but there is enough noise during washing and especially spinning. My sister has a Brandt machine at home, also with vertical loading, but it makes much less noise. If the drum was at least 6 kg, I would have given it five points, but it’s only four.

I didn’t like the car because troubles kept happening to it every now and then. The drum turned for the last time so that the flaps were inside. Do you think this is funny? Not at all, because we had to call a specialist who managed to close the doors and turn the drum back. It turns out that I bought myself trouble with my own money.

I’ve been using this washing machine for two years now and I really want to get rid of it. Firstly, it is incredibly noisy.Secondly, it is unreliable, during this time it broke down three times and only once was it possible to solve the problem on our own. Thirdly, she is capricious in relation to detergents. Any powder will not suit her; she needs expensive, finely dispersed products. I do not recommend purchasing Whirlpool AWE 8730.

This machine somehow “smells” of downright cheapness. The plastic on the case is easily pressed through with a finger, the lid has flimsy, dangling fasteners, and the power cord is short. That the manufacturer felt sorry for the extra half a meter of wire; it was completely worn out. I'm still happy with the washing, rinsing and spinning, but I would never give five stars. Three is just right.

I can’t say anything definitive about the Whirlpool AWE 8730, since it has 50/50 pros and cons. It washes and spins well, but rinses disgustingly because it uses a water-saving program. It has a spacious drum, but at the same time its flaps constantly fall behind the plastic, I’ve already plucked them out twice with a screwdriver. The body itself is narrow, which allows you to put the machine anywhere, but it is made of low-quality materials and will lose its appearance in a year or two. For myself, I decided this: since I took the machine, let it work, but I won’t recommend it to anyone.

This machine also makes a lot of noise at the very beginning of the spin cycle, when the drum starts to pick up speed.

I like the Whirlpool AWE 8730 washing machine because it has a hatch at the top and you don’t have to bend down every time to put laundry in the drum. For many, this will seem like a trifle, you’ll think about bending over, but people suffering from radiculitis will understand me.I also liked trying different programs, each time you discover something completely new. In general, I bought myself a toy in my old age, so far I like it.

This machine is much more reliable than Beko WKB 61031 PTMA, which broke six months ago. It was a pity, but it was useless to repair, and without a washing machine it was impossible, so I had to buy a replacement. The replacement turned out to be very good, try it yourself!

I don't really understand why you would pay extra for a top loading washing machine. It has no significant advantages; it even loses to the front camera in terms of technical characteristics. My husband bought Whirlpool AWE 8730 two months ago without asking me. I wanted to make a surprise. The surprise didn’t work out, now I’m thinking of a smarter way to get rid of this machine, because it can’t cope with its direct responsibilities. I don't recommend taking it!

I really liked this washer. I've been using it for three months, no complaints so far. During transportation, it was slightly scratched, but I didn’t make a fuss, it’s all nothing. I like the express wash and delicate fabric programs, they are the best in the set. Five points!
