Many modern users of automatic washing machines deliberately refuse to buy Russian, Chinese or Ukrainian-made washing machines due to their supposedly low quality. In return, they are chasing European-made equipment, for example, the Electrolux EWT1064ERW top-loading washing machine. This machine, frankly speaking, is not cheap, its average price is about $670 and it is assembled in Poland. Is this washing machine really that good? We will figure it out together with experienced users.

I purchased this washing machine as a gift for my wife. I was specifically looking for a “European” model with vertical loading; a “front-loader” simply wouldn’t fit into our bathroom. I installed it myself, strictly according to science: I strengthened the floor, installed communications, leveled the body, even anti-vibration stands put it under my feet. It turned out somehow bad. The machine works fine, the washing is good, nothing to complain about, but the noise is simply monstrous. The walls of the bathroom are thin, so you can hear the machine throughout the entire apartment.
When it comes to installation, there are no mistakes on my part; this has already been verified by me and my fellow craftsmen. Looks like it's a problem with the washing machine.
I’m very disappointed because I don’t like unnecessary noise, especially when I’m sleeping during the day after a night shift, but my wife liked the machine, she says it’s roomy, it washes and spins well.

The machine attracted me with its low price, appearance, vertical loading, presence of a normal display, and also a time manager. The machine is well assembled, nothing hangs loose anywhere, the plastic doesn’t bend, everything looks reliable, and even assembled in Europe. The hatch cover is convenient and does not jam, and the drum flaps are made “humanly”. It is stated that the drum load is 6 kg, but it feels like it is actually a little less, I reached this point experimentally.
The washing machine turned out to be unexpectedly noisy. When spinning at a speed of 1000, the machine just takes off, or so it seems, because the washer stands rooted to the spot, but the noise is just terrible. The tray for funds is normal, I would even say convenient, when I bought it, I thought everything would be worse. The control panel is beautiful and functional, all information about the washing progress is displayed on the display. Overall, a normal machine!

A year ago I bought this washing machine on sale as a gift for my mother. I kept it in a package in the garage for two months to give my mother a surprise. How happy she was with the gift. They thought that she would have problems mastering the new technique, but no, she learned it in three days. I specifically purchased a model with a top hatch so that my mother with her sciatica would not have to bend over again. The machine works flawlessly, the quality of washing is excellent!

I had to suffer with the old Kandy machine. There were 8 breakdowns alone in six years of operation, I specifically counted them, they wasted a lot of money on repairs, now this is a thing of the past. There are no such problems with the Electrolux EWT1064ERW. The car has been running like a clock for a year and a half now. It is perfectly balanced, even when you load a lot of laundry into the drum and turn on the high-speed spin, the body hardly wobbles, only vibrates a little.
Before buying, I read reviews about this machine, it turns out that people were unhappy with the small drum loading. For my part, I would say that the load is optimal, since even large items, such as rugs, blankets, jackets, pillows, etc., can be washed if desired. My rating is five!

After three months of using the machine, a strange whistling sound appeared, apparently the engine was whistling. So far this is not too annoying, but I think such a whistle is a harbinger of a breakdown. I won’t climb it myself, I’ll call a specialist. The rest of the machine is great, especially the rinsing goes well. Even low-quality powder rinses out perfectly.
Another plus is that the drum doors open smoothly, no jamming.

Electrolux EWT1064ERW is my favorite assistant, which by chance appeared in our house in June 2016. The machine pleased us because it fit right between the sink and the wall, so we didn’t have to start remodeling the bathroom. My husband also didn’t bother with the connection for a long time, so an hour after the washing machine was delivered, I already loaded a test batch of laundry consisting of old towels into the drum.
The first wash immediately showed that the machine copes with its duties perfectly. Old dirty towels washed well, and some even began to look like new. The first month I had to get used to the unusual load of laundry and detergents, but then everything fell into place. Girls, you have no idea how pleased I am with this machine. It seems to me that it is 100 times better than any other. I will never again use washing machines that have a hatch in the front, only now I understand that this is inconvenient.

The Electrolux EWT 1064 ERW washing machine is reliable, easy to use, washes well, and looks normal in appearance, suitable for any interior. I don’t particularly like the composition of the washing programs; most of them are kind of long, unreasonably long.The machine operates a little noisily, but this noise is specific and does not irritate me. Under normal circumstances I would not have bought the machine, it was too expensive, but I was able to buy it at a 40% discount, so in the end it turned out okay.

Terrible washing machine with a KAMAZ engine. This is the sound that my grandfather’s grain crusher makes in the village. I don’t know with what hands the Poles assembled it there, but I will be getting rid of this washing machine in the near future, and I don’t advise you to buy it.
