How to mute the Samsung washing machine

Most washing machines have sound, with the help of which the machine “reports” that the cycle has completed successfully. But not everyone likes these tunes: a sudden sound can wake a sleeping child, scare or just get bored for many years of use. And even more inconvenient - night washing becomes impossible.

Methods of "struggle" with an unpleasant function vary greatly. Some prefer to close the doors tightly, close their ears, while others simply break the unwanted speaker. But there is a more accurate and civilized option: turn off the sound on the Samsung washing machine using the buttons.

How does deactivation work?

The "Mute" button is on individual Samsung models, but for others, this action is not so obvious. And if, after acquiring a typewriter, the attached instruction remained untouched, then you may not even know about the hidden function of deactivating sound accompaniment. However, this is not a reason to get rid of annoying signals by removing the speaker from the control board of the machine.

And without radical methods, you can forever leave music in the past. It is enough to turn off the sound option once, so that subsequent washings do not suffer from the final melody. Neither the change of modes, nor the repeated reboot of the machine will return unpleasant signals. Only a system failure with resetting all user settings is capable of this, but it rarely happens and is quickly fixed by the user.

Moreover, the music option is disabled during any washing mode. It is enough to turn to the control panel of the washing machine and perform a few actions.

1. Find the “Spin” and “Option” buttons (they are located next to the right side of the panel).
2. Press the keys at the same time and hold them down.
3. Hold until the crossed-out speaker image lights up on the display.
4. Release the buttons.

Before starting the manipulation, it is recommended to look through the instructions or user manual, which necessarily describes all the available options and turn them off. Sometimes it’s enough to hold the buttons for three seconds, and sometimes it takes a little longer. The main thing is to carefully monitor the mute indicator. After the corresponding icon appears, the function is deactivated, and the washer will cease to voice its actions.

Important! The mute function is not basic and may not be available on some Samsung washing machine models.

But even in cases where the ability to button-off music is not provided, do not go to extreme destructive measures. It is better to contact service personnel. The wizard gently opens the dashboard and seals the speaker, muffling all outgoing sounds. It is not recommended to break off the transmitting device or spoil it. Remember that in the event of a secondary sale, the price of such a washing machine will immediately fall, because there are people who need a dubbing of the cycle.
