How to use and where to add bleach in the washing machine

chlorine bleach for carOften you have to use different bleaches when washing. There are active oxygen-based and chlorine-based bleaches. The second of them are cheaper, but at the same time more aggressive, and therefore housewives use these products in an attempt to restore the whiteness of grayed things. The bleaching process is very labor-intensive, so the question arises, how to do it using an automatic washing machine? We will try to answer this question.

Can I use white?

Bleach, or “Whiteness” as it is also called, is a strong chemical that can affect not only dirt, but also metal parts and rubber. That is why, regardless of the manufacturer, chlorine-based bleach is sold in plastic containers. A logical question arises: is it then possible to pour such a product into a washing machine? Will this damage the drum or rubber hoses and pipes?

The answer to this question must, first of all, be sought in the instructions for a specific washing machine. If you cannot use chlorine-based products, the manufacturer will definitely write about this in order to relieve itself of responsibility for any consequences. Most often, of course, pouring “Belizna” into the washing machine is prohibited.

If the manufacturer allows the use of chlorine bleach, then most likely the pipes in such a machine are plastic, and the drum is made of durable material.

Pay attention to the powder cuvette. If it has a special fourth compartment for bleach, then this also means that bleach can be used.

However, it is worth noting that you should not often resort to automatic whitening. Use this method only as a last resort. A chlorine-based product can not only whiten things, get rid of germs, but also clean the machine from unpleasant odors.

Instructions for use
