Mile dishwasher errors

PMM Mile error codesMile company produces some of the best dishwashers not only in Germany but throughout the world. This technique is not so accessible for residents of Russia and the CIS countries, however, it can be found in homes quite often, especially among residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Miele dishwashers make mistakes infrequently simply because this equipment rarely breaks. Nevertheless, Mila’s self-diagnosis system is the most advanced, and we, of course, could not get around it with our attention.

Features of the diagnosis of this technique

Studying the fault codes of Mile dishwashers, masters of certified service centers along the way clarify a bunch of nuances associated with determining breakdowns using these codes. It is possible to fully understand what is at stake only by gaining some experience in eliminating defects in these machines, but we will try to briefly explain what we mean by a specific example.

As an example, we take the error F01. After all, it not only indicates a breakdown of the temperature sensor, as the decryption from the professional instruction claims. This code may appear:

  • when the supply wiring of the temperature sensor is broken;
  • during the oxidation of the contacts connecting the wiring to the temperature sensor and the control module;

Mila dishwashers use high-quality wiring and reliable contacts, but they are also subject to various negative influences, especially after a long period of time.

  • in the event of a physical breakdown of the control board (semiconductor elements or tracks burned out);
  • in case of problems with the firmware of the control module.

All these defects can accompany each error code, so they always need to supplement the list of defects that the standard decryption offers us. You also need to consider that the machine can issue at a certain interval not one, but two codes. Then you need to carefully study the decryption and understand how these codes are interrelated. Only in this case will it be possible to recognize the defect relatively quickly.

Description of codes F01 to F40

The self-diagnosis system of the Millet dishwasher contains 32 error codes in its database. This is a very detailed system that can even respond to minor issues. Let's try to describe it and simultaneously talk about the malfunctions to which these codes respond.

F01. This code has already been mentioned by us in the first paragraph. It means a defect in the temperature sensor. This code is output accompanied by a sound signal that lasts for 2 minutes. What to do? First of all, restart the dishwasher, completely de-energizing it for 15 minutes. If the machine gives an error again, disconnect it from the communications, remove the side wall and check the temperature sensor with an ohmmeter. The workpiece should produce 15 kOhm. If it is faulty, replace.

F02. This error more specifically indicates a loss of communication between the temperature sensor and the control module, in other words, a wire break. But the failure of the sensor itself cannot be ruled out. In this case, we also disassemble the machine, but we check first of all not the temperature sensor, but its wiring. If one of the wires is broken, it must be replaced.PMM Mile management module

F11 Indicates that the dishwasher Mile cannot drain the waste water into the sewer. The display may additionally display Drain fault. The most likely 4 reasons:

  • a blockage occurs in the siphon, drain hose, pump or pipe;
  • clogged up in the trash filter;
  • the pump is out of order;
  • The heater relay, which determines the pressure in the system, has burned out.

First of all, you need to check the trash filter, then the siphon fitting, the siphon itself and the drain hose. The blockage may even be in the sewer pipe, then it will be necessary to call the plumbers, and not the dishwasher repair masters.Through the side of the case we get access to the pump, check it for obstruction or malfunction. Lastly, we test the heater relay and, if necessary, change it.

F12 This error eloquently tells us that there are problems with the flow of water into the Mila dishwasher. The code may be accompanied by the words Water intake fault. To get to the bottom of the causes of this error, you must first check if the cold water in the house has been turned off. If there is water in the water supply, but it runs in a slow trickle, this can also cause code F12. Is everything normal with the water supply? So you need to remove and check the water flow sensor. It is necessary to remove the hose and blow its tube, check the resistance, check the wiring. Next, you need to check the inlet valve, if it is faulty, you need to change the part.

F13 This error is similar to the previous one, but it more indicates problems with the pressure switch. Other reasons why water does not enter the machine can be considered additional, but they should not be discounted. We act in exactly the same way as in the case of error F12, only additionally we also check the intake valve filter for blockages.

F14 This code indicates a malfunction of the pressure switch of the heating element. With such an error, you must first check the pressure switch with a multimeter, ring its wiring, then check the flow meter and finally check the circulation pump. If one of these parts is defective, it must be changed.

F15 A rather unusual error that appears when hot water is supplied to the machine. This happens when, with an unskilled installation of a dishwasher, the master mixed up the entrances and fed hot water into the car instead of cold water.

So you can confuse the outputs if the goal was to connect the machine to hot water, but since the hot water hose was connected to neither outlet, the Millet machine generated an error F15.

F18. The inlet valve is constantly in the open state, and gravity water gradually flows into the machine. At the same time, the drain pump tries to pump out excess water and works all the time. Most likely, the problem is in the broken intake valve, it should be checked and replaced. In more rare cases, the fault is the failure of the control module, if so, you need to contact specialists.

Mile dishwasher water flow sensorF19 This error tells us about a malfunction or a blockage in the water flow sensor. Often this code appears when the sensor tube is clogged with debris and the problem can be solved by cleaning this tube. Maybe the sensor simply burned out and needs to be changed. You need to remove it and check with a multimeter, you also need to remember to test the wiring.

F24. This specific code appears when problems arise with the heater relay. Usually it causes a short circuit of this part, which could occur if water or foam gets into it. In more rare cases, the code appears if the relay contacts have simply become very oxidized. The problem is solved by cleaning the contacts or replacing the part.

F25 The error indicates an insufficient rate of heating water in the system, or the inability to reach the temperature that was set by the program. How to fix this flaw? It is necessary to check the temperature sensor, the heater, as well as the bus of the control module. A serious firmware failure could also occur. In more rare cases, the excess powder is the fault. Most often, a replacement of a heating element or a temperature sensor is required.

F26. This error "pops up" on the display of the Millet dishwasher in an emergency case when the heater tries to bring the temperature of the water in the system to a boil. A special sensor does not allow this. The reason is a malfunction of the temperature sensor, which incorrectly takes measurements and sends incorrect information to the control module. The problem is solved by replacing the temperature sensor.

F32, F33. These codes indicate problems with the locking device of the Millet dishwasher door. These codes can be seen when the door is either impossible to open, or vice versa impossible to close. To eliminate the defect of the door, a locking device is removed. Sometimes it can be repaired simply by cleaning or replacing the spring, but more often replacement is required.

F36. This error indicates problems with the door switch. This element should be checked with a multimeter and, if necessary, replaced.

F40 A rather terrible mistake in its consequences. She talks about very serious physical damage to the control board. In more rare cases, this failure is eliminated by replacing the firmware, but more often you need to change the fully control board. Both that, and another need to be entrusted to the master.

Description of codes F42 to F91

F42, F47. Such errors appear when there are problems with the power grid. Sensitive dishwasher sensors Millet detect vibrations and stop the operation of the machine, issuing codes F42, F47. In this case, you need to turn off the machine and wait until the mains returns to normal operation. If a malfunction occurs, you often need to connect the Mile machine to the network through dishwasher stabilizer. It will save expensive equipment from breakdowns associated with power surges.

F51. With such an error, the control module stops receiving the correct signals from the temperature sensor. The module stops washing dishes and starts the pump, which starts pumping water. The solution to the problem is seen in checking and replacing the temperature sensor, checking its wiring, checking the bus of the control board.

F52, F69. These specific errors can occur when, due to a decrease in the water pressure in the system, the pressure switch disables the operation of the heater. The control module stops the operation of the machine. What could have happened?

  1. There is a blockage near the circulation pump, so it works poorly and can not create the necessary pressure.
  2. The dishes are not properly stacked in baskets (not sideways, but flat). Water is collected in plates and pans without returning to the system, pressure drops and an error appears.

Modern dishwashers spend a little water for washing dishes. Even if a liter of water remains in the pan and does not flow down into the system, this can lead to a drop in pressure. Stack items correctly.

  1. The user put too much powder, which enriched the detergent mixture, formed foam and interfered with the determination of pressure.
  2. The pressure switch is out of order.

The user must check how the dishes are stacked in baskets, reduce the dosage of the powder. If this does not help, you need to open the case, check and replace the relay, also check the circulation pump and the circulation unit for blockages.

F53 This code indicates a sensor error that determines the speed of program execution. The problem is solved only by replacing the sensor and its supply wiring.dishwasher temperature sensor Mile

F63 This code is rare, but it still appears when repair of the gate lock on the door lock of the dishwasher Mila is required. Solution: replacement of constipation, and in the absence of components, replacement of the entire lock.

F67 This code notifies the user that the circulation pump is operating at high or even maximum speed. Perhaps the circulation pump has broken, the connection between it and the control module is broken, or the bus of the control board burned out. Replacement of the circulation pump, supply wiring is required or the control board needs to be repaired.

F68 This error appears on the screen of the dishwasher Mila, when the circulation pump stops responding to the control module's commands for shutting down. At the same time, the pump continues to work, as if nothing had happened. Solution: check the circulation pump and its wiring; if necessary, the part changes.

F70 This code indicates that the system protects the machine from water leaks. The leakage sensors of modern Mile dishwashers are protected against sticking, so when the F70 code appears, you must assume that there is water in the pan. What needs to be done?

  1. Turn off the machine completely and turn off the water.
  2. Pull out the machine in the middle of the room.
  3. Lay rags and drain water from the pan by tilting the housing to the right side.
  4. Remove the right and left sides of the housing and find a leak.
  5. Liquidate the leak, lower the sensor float, assemble and test the machine.

F84, F85. These errors indicate a malfunction or defect in the door locking device. The part does not respond to commands of the control module, or does not execute them correctly. First you need to look at the wiring, then the part itself, and then you can test the firmware of the control board.

F86 The code indicates that the user did not close the lid of the salt tank well or forgot to close it altogether. Tighten the lid of the tank located at the bottom of the washing chamber of the Millet machine tightly and the error disappears.

The sensor on the tank lid with salt may break, then you can simply replace the lid.

F87. This code can be seen when problems occur and the ion exchanger machine. Perhaps a signal does not come from him, since the sensor itself has failed, and perhaps the ion exchanger began to perform its function poorly due to the fact that the user did not add salt to the machine on time. To remove the error, you must watch the ion exchanger, you probably have to change it.

F88 A sensor detecting water pollution made itself felt. Most likely, the sensor is just very clogged and needs to be cleaned. Also, the connection between the control module and the turbidity sensor may be broken, or this sensor simply burns out. We check the sensor itself, its wiring with a multimeter, and also clean it with a cloth if it is dirty. It may also be necessary to replace the conductive sensor pipe.

F91. This error indicates a breakdown of the sensor that determines the number of dishes in the baskets of the Mila dishwasher. In some cases, an error does not stop the operation of the machine and after a short pause, the program starts successfully. If you want this function to work correctly on your machine, you need to replace the load sensor.

So, the control board of the dishwasher Mila in its memory contains a large number of codes of the self-diagnosis system. If you correctly decrypt them, and even be able to use them, you can detect a defect in a matter of minutes. Masters do this, but even beginners can master these skills. The main thing is to study the material properly. Good luck
