Description of error 4e
Error 4e means that for some reason the washing machine does not draw water. This is easy to understand: after all, you can’t hear the sounds of water gathering, and you can’t see the flow of water through the glass of the drum. Error 4 e in a Samsung washing machine can occur both at the very beginning of washing and during rinsing, when the soapy water has already been drained, but clean water does not flow.
In some Samsung washing machine models, a similar error is indicated not by code 4e, but by code 4c.
Causes
The occurrence of such an error can be caused by the following reasons:
- Lack of cold water supply.
- A foreign object is stuck in the water fill valve.
- When connecting to the water supply, an error occurred in connecting hot and cold water.
- There is no water pressure, there is no pressure in the water supply.
- The hose is not connected to the detergent container.
Debugg
The first thing to do is open the cold water tap and make sure it is not turned off.
If water is supplied to the apartment, but the machine still does not start washing, showing error 4e on the screen, then you need to:
- Check the tightness of the tap and valve through which water is supplied; there may be leaks. Typically, leaking water is the main cause of this error.
- Check the pressure at which water is supplied through the hose.
When the water pressure is strong, the reason may be a clogged inlet filter. It is enough to clean it or replace it and try to start the washing machine again. If error 4e appears on the screen again, then the problem is with the internal parts of the washing machine, which requires calling a technician.

Errors 4e and e4: the same thing?

- too much laundry, the permissible volume has been exceeded;
- perhaps there is too little laundry;
- the laundry has bunched up and stuck to the drum;
- problems with the electronic controller, defects in machine drive parts.

For some reason, error 4E only appears in (wool) mode. It works great in all other modes! What's the matter?

The one that supplies water during programs is clogged. Those. The machine is used to weigh laundry. And during a quick wash, it immediately pours water. That's why I didn't understand it right away. Sometimes it erases, sometimes it doesn’t. At first I sprayed for half an hour. And then she actually wrote to me 4e. The technician arrived and cleaned the water supply hose to the first compartment of the tray. 10 minutes complete repair.
Did not work out. Replaced the water supply valve.I just broke some plastic thing nearby that supplies water to the compartment where the fabric softener is poured :)
The same song, only 4e appears during the wash, but when rinsing everything is fine.
