after each wash, use a cloth to wipe the cuff of the washing machine hatch, the inside of the powder tray and the rubber band around the garbage filter;
Once every two weeks, take out and wash the powder tray.

What washing machine cleaning products are we talking about?

Dr. Tan. A multi-purpose powder that can fight not only scale, but also other types of dirt. It also removes powder residue and partially eliminates the unpleasant odor. Sold in packs of 200 grams.
Mister DEZ. Quite a cheap and at the same time effective powder for cleaning a washing machine from scale and dirt. According to the test results, it performed well, however, it leaves behind a rather unpleasant odor, but after the first wash with conditioner, the odor disappears.
Mashinenreiniger clean. One of the best German cleaning products for washing machines. This product is recommended by leading manufacturers of automatic washing machines such as Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau. This powder cleans and disinfects the internal surfaces of the washing machine, but the product does not remove heavy dirt and a thick layer of scale.
Filtero. A cleaning gel from Germany that perfectly cleans the insides of the washing machine from dirt, scale and mold. After cleaning, the gel leaves a very pleasant smell. The gel is not cheap, but it is used quite economically, and besides, you will use it once every 6 months, it will not be so expensive.
Dr. Beckmann. A relatively inexpensive and very good cleaning product for automatic washing machines. It removes soap scum, powder residues, mold, various dirt and limescale equally well. Our masters now use exactly this tool.

Currently, there are many cleaning products for washing machines that contain citric acid. Moreover, there is 99% citric acid and 1% flavoring. Whether or not you should buy a regular lemon at exorbitant prices is up to you, carefully look at the composition of the washing machine cleaner you buy.

Features of the use of funds

How to use washing machine cleaner? There is nothing simpler; instructions for use are usually printed on the packaging. If for some reason the packaging has not been preserved, we provide summary instructions for using most of the products.

Place about 200 g of product into the powder receptacle. If the product does not fit into the powder tray, you can pour some of the powder into the drum.
Check that there are no items in the drum.
Select a hot wash program, preferably 95⁰C. In this case, under no circumstances should you use the pre-wash mode.
After completing the wash cycle, set the rinse cycle to repeat, and then you can wash your clothes without worry.

To summarize, we note that there are a lot of washing machine cleaning products on the market. However, you should not take cheap cleaning powders that contain only citric acid. Why overpay for something that is already in your kitchen, it’s better then clean the washing machine with citric acid, the effect will be the same.
