Among the German Miele dishwashing equipment, it is quite rare to find budget models; they are all premium-class equipment. Nevertheless, in Russia they are willing to buy it, and judging by the reviews, a fairly large number of users prefer it. Today we will discuss Miele built-in dishwashers with different cabinet widths. Let's make a detailed review of this technique and give the opinions of experienced users about it.

Dimensions and specifications of this equipment

Over its more than hundred-year history, the Miele company has evolved from a small manufacturer of butter churns into a large concern producing a huge amount of various household appliances, including dishwashers. 4. Some of the most modern models of Miele clippers are equipped with the Knock2open system. What it is? Models with this system do not have a door handle. At first glance, you won’t even understand how to open the machine, because there’s nothing to grab onto. All you have to do is knock on the door twice and it will open on its own.

This dishwasher rightfully belongs to the highest class, because its characteristics and quality of components are impressive. Therefore, you will have to pay about 1,754 dollars for it, you will agree, a considerable amount.You will have to pay not only for the German brand, but also for:

• capacity 14 standard sets of dishes;
• very low noise level, only 44 dB;
• energy consumption class A+++, which means 0.84 kW/h with a standard washing program;
• 6 programs and the same number of temperature modes;

One of the useful programs in this model is “Delicate”, which allows you to wash fragile and thin glass.

• water consumption is only 9.7 liters, which is very little for full-size equipment;
• turbo dryer, which will ensure quick drying.

In general, this dishwasher has something to brag about. In addition, it has a delayed start, an automatic opening function, indicators, and a water purity sensor. The machine is completely built into the furniture. One minor drawback is the lack of half load. With such resource expenditures, you can do without this function.

Miele G 6891 SCVi K2O

This dishwasher is the most expensive of those that received our attention and were included in the review. At first inspection, this may be intimidating, since it costs approximately $3,684. The dishwasher is simply “stuffed” with various functions; engineers have implemented all the latest developments in it. So, this model has:

• a dozen programs and 7 temperature modes. Standard washing modes are supplemented with automatic programs;
• turbo drying;
• capacity for 14 sets;
• delayed start;
• stainless steel baskets, adjustable in height;
• half load.

That's not all; when opened, the camera is illuminated by a built-in backlight. The peculiarity of this model is the presence of a special sensor that allows you to open the door by knocking Knock2Open. After drying, the machine automatically opens the door; you must admit, it’s convenient when the dishwasher does everything for you.Such new options as a beam on the floor, a sound signal, product indicators, complete leakage protection - everything is there. Even the noise level during washing does not exceed 41 dB. But there is still one small drawback: the manufacturer did not install child protection, which is unforgivable for premium class equipment.

Miele G 4985 SCVi XXL

This PMM model from Mile, like the previous two, is designed for 14 sets and is fully built-in. Despite the fact that it only has 5 programs and 3 temperature settings. It can cope with the dirtiest dishes no worse than others, spending 9.9 liters of water and 0.94 kW/h. You can use powder for washing, but tablets are not suitable, because there is no tray for this. If you have a small amount of dishes, you can run a half load rather than wait for the dishes to accumulate and dry out.

The dishwasher is only protected against leaks. When the program ends, a beep sounds. In general, the machine is equipped with only basic programs and functions. Its cost does not exceed $1,561. It's not cheap, but German quality and assembly require it.

Miele G 4880 SCVi

This dishwasher is a narrow, fully built-in dishwasher, and therefore has a capacity of 9 sets. The range of functions and programs is very good, which is why it costs $2,280. What's built into it?

• 9 different programs for a wide variety of cookware, including an automatic program.

That machine even has a “Silent” program, which is not common. At the same time, the machine does not operate noisily.

• Pill tray.
• Complete protection against water leakage.
• Height-adjustable stainless steel baskets and glass holder.
• Timer to delay start up to 24 hours.
• Rinse aid and salt indicators.
• Sound signal to notify the end of the program.

In general, the machine is equipped according to modern requirements. The lack of child protection should not be a strong argument against this technique if you trust the quality of Mila.

Miele G 4780 SCVi

This Mile dishwasher is distinguished from the previous one by only a smaller number of programs, there are only 6 of them, as well as the absence of drying with automatic door release. In all other respects the car is no different. It spends only 8.7 liters of water and 0.56 kW/h of energy. The maximum noise level recorded on the standard program is 46 dB.

Despite the capacity of 9 sets, there is also a half-load function. You can fill just one basket with dishes and use half the detergent. Also, do not worry about leaks, since the machine is equipped with the necessary protection; the manufacturers have done their best in this regard.

Miele G 603 SCVi Plus

Although this model is considered quite old, it has already managed to be loved by thousands of users around the world. It is still readily bought in the CIS countries today. This is a narrow representative of the Miele dishwasher family with a washing chamber for 8 sets of standard dishes. It has convenient electronic controls and a modern screen that facilitates interaction between the machine and the user.

The resource consumption is not critical, although in this component the machine loses to its counterparts. It consumes 11 liters of water per full wash cycle and 0.74 kW/h of electricity. Separately, it is worth noting that this model in terms of noise does not correspond to the level of modern premium cars. It produces a maximum of 51 dB, which is quite a lot. There are enough washing programs (6 pieces), all of them are selected very competently, for any occasion.

The set of functions is quite modest, but this is compensated by the high quality of work and excellent German assembly. Available: full protection against water leaks, indicators for the salt tank and rinse aid compartment, a sensor that determines water hardness, and in general that’s all, there’s not even an incomplete load, although this does not spoil the machine.

I have been using the Miele G 6060 SCVi Jubilee dishwasher for more than a year. Good, holds a lot of dishes, does not break. The door opens automatically at the end of the wash. It makes very little noise, despite the turbo drying. By the way, turbo drying makes me very happy. Thanks to it, the dishes dry much faster, and the program ends quickly. I recommend to buy!

My husband gave me the Miele G 6891 SCVi K2O the year before last. The machine is fancy and expensive. She has some kind of sensor there that reacts to knocking. As soon as I knock on the door a couple of times, it immediately opens. Occasionally this sensor does not work, you have to knock again and again until it opens. Cleans dishes perfectly and has a built-in turbo dryer. It works quickly and without any problems, and does not break. Good technology, albeit expensive! I have something to compare with. I used it before dishwasher Bosch SMV44KX00R, so, if you evaluate it on a ten-point scale, I would give my new Mila a “9”, and my old Bosch, which only worked for a year, a “1”.

About 6 months ago I started looking for a good dishwasher with a bunch of different functions and reliable. I settled on the Miele G 4985 SCVi XXL. It has a width of 60 cm, more precisely 59.8 according to the passport, and a load of 14 sets of dishes. Everything about it suited me, and I took it. Overall the car is great. It washes dishes just like magic, but it doesn’t recognize 3 in 1 tablets, so I had to buy powder. There are also more “stuffed” ones in the Miele line, but they are also more expensive. Personally, I am completely satisfied with the Miele G 4985 SCVi XXL.

A friend advised me to buy a Miele G 4780 SCVi dishwasher (she has exactly the same one). Expensive, but worth it. The dishes in my house are now always perfectly clean; I would never wash them with my hands like that. It is not noisy, wastes little water, and washes relatively quickly.
