One of the newest products is automatic dishwashing capsules (Finish, Fairy and others). What are these specific tools and how to use them? We will discuss this issue and many others as part of the article.

What are good capsules?

First, let's discuss how capsules for dishwashers differ from tablets. There is a certain group of specialists who are of the opinion that there are no differences, that it makes no sense to distinguish between these two means, since the principle of their operation is approximately the same. We strongly disagree with this statement, and to prove the contrary point of view we give the following arguments.

1. Capsules (Finish, Fairy and others), unlike tablets, are coated with a soluble coating, which implies the gradual introduction of the components of the product into the washing process.
2. The shape of the components of the capsule differs from the shape of the components of the tablet, which again provides the best phased dissolution throughout the washing cycle.
3. Using capsules (Finish, Fairy and others) is more convenient, since they do not need to be unpacked, in addition, the components of the product do not touch the user's fingers and do not cause irritation and allergies.

In fact, capsules are a special way mixed salt, rinse and detergent, exposed in a special shell. Some users believe that if they spend money and buy capsules, then they do not need any other means. This is not true. In order not to harm the dishwasher, at least salt is needed, which must be poured into the tank located at the bottom of the washing chamber. The salt contained in the capsule is clearly not enough to ensure the normal operation of the ion exchanger.

Note! The main advantage of capsules for dishwashers is that they almost completely replace the powder and rinse aid and partially salt.

How to use capsules?                             

Before buying capsules for dishwashers (Finish, Fairy and others), each user must know for sure that his “iron assistant” is able to recognize these capsules. The fact is that if you put the capsules in an ordinary dishwasher, there will be little sense from them, because the whole point is to dissolve the capsule gradually during the washing process, and only a special program can do this. Read the instructions for your dishwasher, if it says that it is able to recognize tablets, then you can use the capsules without fear.

Which capsules are better to buy? We will try to answer this question in the next paragraph, but for now let's talk about the proper use of the capsule. Using capsules for dishwashers is very easy:

• open the box and take out one capsule;
• open the door of the dishwasher, and then open the tablet compartment, which is located in the detergent drawer;
• without tearing the polymer shell off the capsule, put it in the tablet compartment, close it, close the machine door and start the washing program.

Some users, sharing their experience, talk about the fact that capsules can be put directly into the basket along with the dishes. This is not the right approach, because in this case the capsule will dissolve almost immediately, the rinse aid will be mixed with the washing gel and the dishes will not get the proper shine.

Capsules for dishwashers Fairy all in. These are innovative capsules manufactured under a very famous brand. Packed in a convenient bag with a lock for 39 or 65 pieces. The original product is made in Belgium. The average price per pack is 65 pcs. 1200 rubles, for 39 pcs. - 700 rubles. Fairy capsules contain a rather original set of components, including phosphonates, bleach, enzymes and other active substances.

Fairy capsule content is actively cracked:

• with fat (even fresh, even dried);
• with lipstick stains;
• with spots of dried dye;
• with tea and coffee plaque;
• with dried dough and buckwheat.

Fairy capsules for dishwashers perform well at a washing temperature of 30 ⁰C and even in cold water. The manufacturer does not recommend taking Fairy capsules if your hands are wet, since the shell may begin to dissolve before it gets into the dishwasher. Fairy capsules have pronounced protective properties.

Dreft capsules are made in Germany. The average price of 1100 rubles per pack of 90 pieces. The characteristics of Dreft capsules are very similar to Fairy capsules, so we will not repeat.

Paclan Brileo - simple capsules for dishwashers containing washing gel and rinse aid. They do not contain protective substances against the formation of corrosion or mold, they do not contain auxiliary substances, but they wash dishes well and do not spoil it. The price for such simple capsules is too high - an average of 450 rubles per pack of 20 pcs. But this is their only drawback, otherwise a very decent tool. Among the advantages of Paclan Brileo, the presence of substances that prevent the formation of scale can be distinguished. Made in Belgium.

There is a widespread belief that Finish capsules are the best capsules for dishwashers. We thought so too, however, having studied the issue more closely, we came to the conclusion that everything that is produced under the Finish brand (similar to capsules) is actually a pill. Capsules Finish does not yet exist, perhaps they will appear in the near future, but so far only tablets are available. This does not mean that pills finish for dishwasher something worse than capsules of other manufacturers, just their properties are slightly different.

Note! Under the Finish brand, even tablets with a water-soluble coating are manufactured, but as the manufacturer himself positions, these are not capsules, but tablets, although by and large the user doesn’t care if they wash the dishes.

In conclusion, we note that capsules for dishwashers are a unique product that has some differences from tablets and significant differences from powder and other cleaning chemicals. So far, not many companies produce such capsules, and the demand for them is much less than for powder or tablets. It may change over time, but for now capsules for dishwashers are exotic.
