Is it worth buying a dishwasher - reviews

is it worth buying a dishwasherIn the 21st century, people increasingly began to think about buying a dishwasher, especially since the market offers many models and brands. However, before making a purchase, many people ask the question: is it worth buying it at all, and is it really necessary? There is no clear opinion; people are divided into those who are in favor of purchasing a dishwasher and those who are against it. Both offer their arguments by leaving reviews online, here's what we found.

What dishwasher advocates say

My mother-in-law gave me a dishwasher for my birthday, I am very pleased and grateful to her. Very helpful. For washing I use combination tablets and salt. It's been a year since I got it, it works great, not noisy. I don’t remember the Bosch brand, the model, there are many functions.

Before buying a dishwasher, I also wondered whether it was worth getting one, I thought it was a luxury. I probably also doubted it because my husband often helps wash the dishes. As a result, I bought an inexpensive Beko model. 3 years have passed since then, and I am very glad that I decided to buy. Everything washes off the dishes perfectly, and the pans and pots are now shiny. The spoons and forks began to look like new. I advise you to buy it and don’t hesitate, you will be very happy.

I answer: yes, yes, yes, it’s worth buying a dishwasher. The most important thing is to understand the operating rules. There is no need to make dishes with leftover food; you need to throw everything in the trash. A dishwasher will save a lot of time and physical effort, you can be sure.

Not long ago I became the happy owner of a dishwasher, despite the fact that the kitchen is the size of a birdhouse. But the great desire to have equipment allowed us to put it in. And I bought Bosch SKS62E88RU ActiveWater Smart. This is a desktop model and I'm happy with it. When we were choosing in the store, we asked for advice from a sales consultant, who said that if you buy Bosch, then only German assembly, or Turkish, although such assembly is not very good, but it’s better not to take Polish assembly at all, there will be a lot of returns, cars with problems . You should definitely take a car, it’s worth it, you just need to choose more carefully.

For your information! Very often there is a proposal on the Internet to erect a monument to the creator of the dishwasher, and then lay flowers on it! That's how happy people are with this kind of invention.

I am only in favor of buying a dishwasher; for example, I have a compact model of an Electrolux machine with 4 sets. We still can’t get enough of the technology; it washes like a star. Everyone has forgotten what it means to wash dishes by hand, and there is no pressing question: who is on duty in the kitchen today? Nerves are calm - and this is the most important thing, in a word only advantages.

A dishwasher is a thing. When you remove leftover food, you can rinse the plate before loading it and put it in the dishwasher. You can load both pots and plates at the same time. And the whole process will take 40 minutes to an hour. In general, there are many advantages, saving time and not having to deal with greasy dishes. In my opinion, there is only one downside - too lazy to put the dishes in and then take them out.

Our Beko dishwasher is 45 cm wide and holds 10 sets. It washes dishes wonderfully and is enough for a family of 4 people. We turn on the dishwasher in the evening or at night, and during the day the dishes accumulate. In the morning we take dry dishes out of the machine. We only buy tablets for washing. As for saving, it has already been proven that much less water is wasted, and hot water is not needed at all. I can’t say anything specific about electricity; consumption has increased, but I don’t know exactly how much. The downside is that you have to take out the dishes, but this is incomparable to washing the dishes by hand every day.

The convenience of a dishwasher is invaluable! We use only Bosch brand appliances, so we bought a dishwasher of the same brand, I really like it, and it washes dishes excellently. There are only two of me and my husband, but even so, after breakfast and dinner there are at least 10 plates. And if you count the pots, spoons, mugs, saucers, then there is enough for a full load once a day. That’s why we need it, I can’t even imagine how to manage without it.

No doubt about it, we need a dishwasher, and as soon as the opportunity arises, we’ll buy it right away. Haven't bought it yet, please advise which one is better to buy...? There are only two of us, but we get a lot of dishes in a day, because we cook at home. After breakfast - a frying pan, a couple of plates, a couple of forks, a large plate for sandwiches. 2 more dirty mugs and 2 teaspoons, and there is always a plate or bowl of jam left over. Before leaving for work, all this remains in the sink. If we dine at home, then to the mountain of dishes after breakfast we add a soup pot, two soup plates, mugs, spoons, a salad bowl and something else. After dinner, more dishes are added, and if you count the cutting boards, plates needed for cooking, frying pans, then there is only one conclusion - BUY a dishwasher. And if guests come, even once a month, then this is just a salvation, we definitely need it.

I'm in favor of buying a dishwasher. Our family has a Bosch car with a width of 60 cm. I am very pleased with this assistant. I wash almost all the dishes in it, including jars, and even tried to wash the glass from the cabinet. The result is excellent, there is no need to wash anything. I use it once every 2 days, so the tablets are used sparingly. For the sake of such a large dishwasher, I had to sacrifice a cabinet in a small kitchen of 6 square meters, but it was really worth it. I hate washing dishes after eating; all the negativity went away with the car. I advise everyone to choose a model without hesitation.

In our family, the dishwasher runs every day. We can’t imagine life without it, just as we can’t imagine if we didn’t have an automatic washing machine. When such machines first appeared, some “Old Believers” shouted that they could do without a washing machine, but now they are happy and do not remember the old days. So people are against dishwashers, most likely those who have never used such a machine. The question arises, where did they get the idea that dishwashers are not economical or inconvenient?

In reality, believe me, even in a family of two people, so many dishes can accumulate that they exceed the maximum load. Less water is definitely consumed, or at least hot water is not required at all. I don’t argue that high-quality tablets are expensive and more expensive than hand wash. But laundry soap is also cheap, but few people use it instead of washing powder. I advise you to buy a dishwasher and not worry about foolishness, and then figure out how to spend the freed up time.

Reviews of opponents of buying a dishwasher

I bought a dishwasher, now it has been sitting idle for three years. I launch it once a year and that’s because I bought it. I really don’t like dirty and dry dishes, so I’m used to washing them by hand and don’t see any problem with it.How many dishes do you need to accumulate in this fool, it takes two days to accumulate, and at the same time, the dishes need to be cleaned and arranged. There are two of us in the family, and yet we don’t eat all day, and sometimes we have to eat outside the house. In short, this is the most useless technique for me.

I have a dishwasher that is already 4 years old. During this time I turned it on only 3 times. There is always hot water, so it is not difficult for me to wash the dishes immediately after eating. It’s also annoying to put everything on shelves in the dishwasher baskets and then wait about two hours for the process to complete in order to get dry and clean dishes and place them in the cabinet. The only thing I liked was how the crystal and glass were washed; there is no need to rub it until it shines, everything is shiny anyway.

Jylia24dishwasher

Our friends from Moscow bought a dishwasher, but they use it very rarely, in a word, the machine is idle. They turn it on only after a holiday or a big feast; in other cases, as you yourself have seen, there is no point. If it were possible to turn back time, they would not have bought it.

I'm not exactly against the purchase, but I'm not in favor of it either. My parents have a built-in dishwasher from Zanussi, which is already 5 years old. There are few modes, mostly they use the one that heats the water to 60 degrees and washes for about 30 minutes. This is probably the only advantage when dishes are washed in very hot water. But not all dishes can withstand such heat; there have been cases when plates burst. Another disadvantage is that you have to rinse the dishes before loading, otherwise the filter will quickly clog. Sometimes not all the dishes are washed and you have to wash them. In addition, the pills for her are expensive. In general, my husband said - no, we won’t have a dishwasher and don’t need one, while he washes the dishes by hand, maybe that’s why I don’t insist.

My parents also have a dishwasher, which they use only on holidays. Firstly, you need expensive tablets; cheap ones wash terribly. In addition, the dishes need to be thoroughly cleaned before loading, and you won’t load the machine empty. To load it completely, you need to collect all the dishes that are in the house. In general, we think this is uneconomical and even costly. I think it’s not worth spending money on purchasing, and then also on maintaining equipment.

Oliya-one

I think that a dishwasher is not needed, it is an absolutely useless appliance for the home. It’s easier to wash 2 plates and spoons with your hands after dinner. And even more economical and faster. Yes, it takes a little longer to wash after guests, but this happens extremely rarely, and therefore we don’t even have the desire to buy a dishwasher.

Angelina1234

I agree with those who say that a dishwasher is not needed. It's a dead weight for me. It is much easier to wash several plates and mugs by hand in no more than 10 minutes than to wait almost 2 hours for a machine to do it, using up kilowatts of energy. When receiving guests, I wash dishes as they arrive, I don’t store them in the sink, everything is quick and clean.

There are quite a lot of customer reviews, we think that it has already become clear to you that for some people a dishwasher is extremely necessary and important. And some people think this technique is useless. In this matter, only you can decide for yourself whether to buy a dishwasher or not. In addition to reviews, you can read the article Is a dishwasher necessary?, which describes all the pros and cons of such a purchase.

Good afternoon. We recently bought a BOSH 40 car because we were tired of standing at the car wash for an hour and a half or two in the evening, a family of three. It really helps if you load up all the dirty dishes in the evening and go about your business. Plus, you can’t wash it with your hands, the dishes are all like new. I highly recommend.

Apparently, it all depends on the company. We bought the Delta company. Even the ketchup cannot be washed off the plates unless you clean the car with a special, very expensive product every two weeks. And this despite the fact that it is used once every two days. I regret the purchase because... washes disgustingly(((

I thought for a long time and decided whether to buy a dishwasher or not. I heard a lot of wonderful reviews, but to install it, I needed to redo the kitchen set 🙁 And yet, my friend convinced me that it was worth it!
And now I am the happy owner of BOSH40, 45 m. I haven’t been overjoyed for six months now! Only advantages! Stainless steel pots that were about to be thrown away were washed like this! What I took a photo of and sent to a friend, who assured me that it was a useless thing :) There’s nothing to say about forks, spoons, glass. Everything is in perfect condition!
And further. Don’t listen to the talk about “it’s easier to wash two plates with your hands”! There is no such thing as not having enough dishes for the whole day! Do you fry and cook soup in bowls? For example, when I cook dinner I use a lot of items, and even more so with the dishwasher. There is no point in saving now. What about combines?! before you think about it and then how much you wash, dry, fold. You take a knife and cut it. And now, I do everything on kitchen appliances, straight into the machine, take it out dry, fold it up and put it on the shelf!
One tip from personal experience. I use tablets, no matter what, I break them in half, but I always add conditioner! It is filled approximately once a month. A bottle costs 100-200 rubles, it really cleans dishes perfectly, regardless of the name and price of the tablet.

We have been using a Hotpoint dishwasher for a long time, occasionally we wash the dishes ourselves, but basically all the work is done on it.

It won't take long to get confused here. I compared many options in stores and saw many models that were worth it. I definitely don’t understand what is better and what is worse. And I chose the one that is convenient for me to use. Indesit suited me in this regard.

Oh, it’s strange that there are opponents. While my husband and I are cooking, so many dishes get dirty that we are very happy about buying a machine. We just took a small built-in one, so now we don’t have to lay out all the wet dishes near the sink :)

  7. Gravatar Olga Olga:

It’s strange to ask such questions in the 21st century. Of course, the necessary equipment, just like a washing machine. Firstly, when there is a dishwasher in the house, you can see it from the dishes. We have a Hans ZWM4577WH dishwasher at home. Neither my husband nor I have time to stand near the sink and clean pots and kettles; the machine copes with this perfectly. The main thing is to choose the right capacity. For three people, a car for 10 sets is enough. We always launch in the evening. The dishes do not suffocate and by morning everything is clean and shiny.

There is always plenty of dishes, even for a family of three. The German helps us out. Quality proven over the years by Kaiser.
