What is she?

DE DWD-CV701P is a regular front-loading washing machine, only very small. The package includes a plastic tank and a stainless steel drum embossed in the form of a honeycomb, ensuring gentle washing. There is an inverter type electric motor.

Structurally, the machine differs from larger models in the absence of a pump that pumps out and drains water when the washing program requires it. Since the mini-model is designed for installation on a wall, above the sewer pipes, this means that water can drain into the sewer by gravity.

The largest overall dimension is height, it is 60 cm.
The maximum load of the model is 3 kg, the total weight is 16.5 kg.

Who is it for?

According to the manufacturer, DE DWD-CV701P can be used:

as an additional option - a second washing machine in the apartment;
for separate washing of children's clothes;
like a washing machine for lonely people. At this point I would like to add that a one-and-a-half set of bed linen weighs about 2 kg, so it can also be washed in a miniature machine;
for urgent washing of a necessary item that has unexpectedly become dirty.

How does she look?

High tech

A wall-mounted washing machine can only be installed on a solid wall. (brick or monolithic, not containing voids), these are safety requirements. It is, of course, more than twice as light as any floor-standing machine. But, nevertheless, it weighs 16.5 kg, plus laundry and water. And don’t forget about the dynamic loads from a running engine.

There is another issue that requires attention. Since water flows out by gravity, there should not be too much distance from the place where the mini-model is attached to the sewer pipes with a minimum of turns and elevation changes.

How does it work?

The wall-mounted washing machine has 7 programs, covering the entire range of washing options needed. Ranging from a short wash cycle in cold water to the most popular cotton wash at 60 degrees. There is a program for washing delicate items and for spinning and rinsing without washing.

Not top-notch performance, but sufficient for home use. There are locks on the dashboard: “child protection” and “leakage protection”.

How does she wash? Tests

No strong vibration was noticed during operation; when installing it on the wall, the instructions strongly recommend the use of vibration-absorbing gaskets.
