It would be nice, for example, to make a brazier from the drum of a washing machine. Such a homemade brazier can be done, without special skills, in a couple of hours with your own hands, and even then waddle. Let's see how this is done.

Why a drum washer?

3. Among other things, purchased collapsible barbecue grills are often made "from the ax." The parts from which the roasting pan and legs are assembled have many sharp edges on the cutting hands. Having to buy a new brazier, I have to take a file and grind the sharp edges of the parts, making them safer. There are no sharp edges at the drum of the washing machine, the fryer from it will turn out to be completely safe, and if you bring it to mind, it will be very good.

Parts and Tools

The whole charm is that in order to make the brazier out of the parts of the washing machine, no special materials are required. In principle, you can get by with just the drum of a washing machine, but then our brazier will turn out to be too low, and it will be inconvenient to work with it. We will make the brazier high, on the leg, so we need: the drum itself from the washing machine, an automatic machine and an old iron pipe.

When our craftsmen assembled a brazier from an old washing machine, they did not find an iron pipe of suitable length, but they found an old unnecessary metal flower stand. She came up for these purposes as well as possible, so it was decided to make the barbecue leg from this stand. In this case, you can also be creative and see what you have in your household so suitable from which you can build a stand. The main thing is that the material of the stand is durable and non-combustible.

In addition to the tank and flower stand, we took 6 bolts with nuts for 10 and a 40 mm metal angle with a length of 80 cm. In principle, you can take any corner. If there is no cropping length of 80 cm, take a trimmed shorter length. Ideally, you need two pieces 40 cm long. Now about the tools, we need:

• flat file:
• roulette;
• hacksaw for metal;
• marker;
• pliers.

If you masterfully operate a grinder, you can do without a hacksaw for metal, the main thing is not to cut off the excess from the drum or tank of the washing machine and not harm your own health. When working with such a power tool, be careful.

Putting the fixture

The preparation is over, it's time to make a brazier with your own hands and finally fry the first batch of barbecue. First, we remake the drum with our own hands. We take the grinder and cut the hole of the hatch, expanding it and making it rectangular.

Having worked as a grinder, we take up the drill. On the edges of the cut rectangular holes, drill 10 mm holes for the bolts. We drill similar holes in the corner, and then fasten the corner to the tank as shown in the figure below.

Our brazier is almost ready, in any case, we have already made a roasting pan with our own hands, it remains to make a stand. It's time to use your old flower stand. We install our roasting pan on the stand on it and fasten it tightly with bolts.

You do not need to do anything else, because the brazier is steadily located on a stand. You can start to burn coals, and then fry the barbecue.
