- Code i20 or two flashes indicate that the dishwasher does not drain.If the machine fails to drain waste water within a certain time and error i20 appears, then the cleaning filter may be clogged, the drain pump is broken, the drain hose is pinched, or the water level sensor is faulty. Usually, to eliminate error i 20, it is enough to clean the filters, which become clogged with food debris, bones, and sometimes particles of broken dishes.
- Code i30 or three blinks of the End indicator light means that the water leakage protection has activated. To be more precise, water got into the pan, the float worked and a valve in the Aquastop system opened, shutting off the water supply. To eliminate this error, you need to drain the water from the pan and change the Aquastop hose (if it is mechanical) or simply drain the water and remove the float from the “water” position by tilting the dishwasher to do this.
- Code i60 or six flashes of the indicator means that the dishwasher is not heating the water or heating it above the set temperature. In this case, the reasons may be:
- heating element burned out;
- electrical wiring fault;
- temperature sensor failure;
- small amount of collected water;
- breakdown of the circulation pump or control board.
Most often, service center technicians encounter the first three problems.
You can replace a heating element or temperature sensor at home if you have at least a little skill in working with equipment. It is much more difficult to diagnose faulty wiring and control boards, so in most cases this work is entrusted to a specialist.
- Code iF01 on machines without a display appears as 14 blinks of the indicator. This error is associated with exceeding the permissible time for filling water, i.e. It took too long for the dishwasher to fill with water. Despite the appearance of this error, the machine continues to wash dishes with a small amount of water until the water is drained, after which this error is eliminated.
Errors related to electrical and sensors
This group of errors can be called more complex both in terms of diagnosis and elimination. These are the error codes for Electrolux dishwashers:
- Code i50 or the indicator blinking five times informs the user about a malfunction of the triac, which is responsible for the operation of the circulation pump. With such a malfunction, the pump operates at full power for some time, after which the washing program stops altogether. - Code iA0 or 10 blinks of the indicator means that the rocker arms do not rotate. This may be caused by jamming due to a power surge. Most often, the reason is much simpler - incorrectly placed dishes are in the way.
- Code iB0 or 11 blinks of the indicator indicates that the sensor that determines the transparency of the water has broken down; a breakdown occurs if there is no data on the turbidity of the water within 15-20 seconds.
- Code IC0 or 12 blinks of the indicator appears if the connection between the control panel interface and the board is lost. The board needs to be diagnosed and then replaced.
- Code id0 or 13 flashes of the indicator informs about a breakdown of the tachogenerator of the circulation pump if there is no signal for 20 seconds. In this case, the water does not heat up.
Malfunctions and difficulties to resolve
