How to integrate a dishwasher in a pencil case

Currently, there are two different ways to integrate a dishwasher into a pencil case: vertical embedding and horizontal embedding. Horizontal installation involves the placement of 3-4 sectional pencil case, along the wall. Household appliances are placed in each section (wall to wall): dishwasher, washing machine, oven, etc.

Vertical integration is carried out in a classic pencil-case, where a dishwasher is located on the lower level, and an oven or other appliances are located on the upper level. Yes, because the equipment does not stand next to the wall to the wall, but above each other. The dishwasher is built into the lower level of the pencil case.

1. First, we measure the internal space of the niche of the pencil case and correlate it with the dimensions of the dishwasher body.

The dishwasher case may have small protrusions, therefore, before organizing a furniture niche, it is necessary to determine the exact dimensions of the machine up to 1 mm in all places.

2. We determine the location of the dishwasher in the niche and note the location of the inner walls.
3. At the bottom of the main niche we make cuts according to the thickness of the material from which the internal walls are made. The walls themselves are customized to the depth and height of the niche. You can get by with one cut, then the side wall of the niche will take on the role of the second inner wall. The inner walls of the niche should not reach the door of the pencil case 2-3 cm. You can make a drink in a pencil case under the dishwasher using a jigsaw and a chisel.
4. We install the inner walls and fix them on top of the inner corners.
5. We hang the furniture facade on the dishwasher door, enter the machine into the prepared niche and, if necessary, fix it there.
6. We connect the dishwasher and check its operation.

It turns out very aesthetically and practically. You really save space in the kitchen, and the dishwasher is hidden by internal and external walls, and even two doors. Beyond such barriers, the dishwasher is almost inaudible and invisible. Many owners appreciate this very much and they are absolutely right.

To embed a dishwasher, you will need the most common carpentry tool: a mallet, a chisel, a jigsaw. You will also need a ruler, pencil, screwdriver and drill for drilling holes for screws. Indeed, between the microwave and the nearest household appliance there should be a significant gap, well, at least 7-10 cm. In a vertical case, such a gap can be provided. It is enough to make an additional internal shelf inside the upper niche by raising the microwave oven relative to the lower niche by the required 10 cm.

You can put the dishwasher under the oven, but not vice versa. If the dishwasher is located above the oven, then both devices can be damaged if leaking. Steam exiting the oven during cooking will rise and damage the PMM electronics.

Well, it’s clear that you can’t put a dishwasher and washing machine in a classic pencil case at the same time, although they can stand side by side in a horizontal pencil case, provided that a partition divides their side walls.
