How to wash clothes for newborns

Everyone knows that things of a newborn cannot be washed as well as things of adults. Baby diapers, sliders, etc., need to be washed correctly. But how is it right? To answer this question straight away is not so difficult, but rather long, so we decided to offer this publication as an answer. Before washing

Diapers and other things of newborns must be prepared before washing. Some negligent mothers dump diapers, vests, romper suits into the laundry basket, and then, after a couple of days, they throw them in a huge amount into the washing machine, sometimes along with some adult laundry, and wash all this with an ordinary washing machine powder. In our opinion, only a notorious barbarian who does not care about the health of his own baby can wash children's things in this way. You need to do the right thing:

1. Clothes and diapers, while feces, urine and other impurities have not dried up on them, must be rinsed in cold water. If you rinse in warm water, traces of feces will remain on things.

If there is no time to rinse the newborn’s things in cold water, you can put them in a basin with cold water and rinse when time appears.

2. After rinsing children's things, take a piece of baby soap and rub all the stains that you see on them. It is advisable to rub with soap on both sides, so that the contamination will effectively become sour and then move away during washing.
3. Wet, soap-rubbed things can be folded into a basin. You do not need to pour water. In this state, they can lie down to the very wash, which will have to start in the evening. Keep the diaper wet for days on end, it is impossible categorically.

Things of newborns usually have contaminants of biological origin, which can be easily removed without the use of expensive super effective powders. It is best to start washing such clothes by hand with a piece of the same baby soap, but you can wash a large number of things of newborns or young children in a washing machine. In this case, ordinary lump soap does not work, you have to use hypoallergenic baby washing powderwhich the manufacturer permits to use in the washing machine.

There are a lot of such powders on the market: Garden Kids, Frau Schmidt Ocean Baby, Vish Baby and others. It is not difficult to find, but you need to be careful. After rinsing and rubbing the baby’s clothes with soap and picking up a good powder for washing, you can start washing directly. If you have the time and desire, you can wash the baby’s clothes manually in a basin with water, in fact, as our mothers and grandmothers did. Hand washing, of course, is a troublesome business, but also economical. You do not spend either electricity, or a large amount of water, or expensive powder for newborns, because you can also wash it manually with baby laundry soap.

“Pissies and poop” is better washed in cold water, but you also want to keep your joints safe, so you need to wash at a water temperature of 15-18 ⁰C - do not collect ice water in the basin; health is more expensive. Dip your baby clothes in a bowl of water and begin to rinse and “chew” intensively.Things previously rubbed with soap should be wrinkled and rubbed first, then rinsed, and then rubbed again with a piece of soap and again “uttered”. After the next rinse, most likely, it will be possible to get rid of all the spots, if not, then the procedure will have to be repeated again.

When washing children's clothes by hand, do not bend over the basin with water, creating a load on the lower back, so you will quickly get tired. Put the basin on the floor, kneel beside it and calmly proceed to the wash.

In an automatic washing machine, washing of things of a newborn should also be carried out in a special way.

• Put enough baby items in the drum of the washing machine. If there are too few things, an imbalance can occur, too much - an overload.
• Open the powder cuvette and pour enough of the detergent into the main wash compartment. You cannot pour fabric softener, pour Kalgon and similar products too.
• Close the cuvette and hatch. Choose a washing program. It is enough to choose a quick wash mode for 30-40 minutes. At what temperature should I wash? Everything is simple here, we choose washing things in cold water.
• If the machine has a double rinse mode, then select it and start washing, if there is no such mode, then repeated rinse must be started manually. It is very important that all residual powder is rinsed out of things.

After washing

As soon as you wash the children's clothing in the above ways, you need to squeeze it and put it in a pile so that you can then hang all the clothes for drying. 6. When washing a newborn’s clothes in a typewriter, do not use any conditioners, water softeners or other chemicals - only special baby powder.
7. When putting things into the washing machine, rinse them first and rub them with soap.
8. Do not dry things outside if you live in a gassed area.
9. If you are forced to dry your baby’s clothes at home, do it near a heat source, but do not cover the heat source - this is dangerous!
