However, the instructions for some washing machines are simply impossible to read. Either they are translated too crudely, or they are overloaded with information so that the main data is lost. We decided to rewrite the operating instructions for this brand of washing machine, just to make it easier to understand its contents, we hope this will help you.

We will install it correctly

Well, the new Indesit WISL 82 washing machine has been delivered, let’s open the packaging. Try to open the box more carefully, in case the washing machine is faulty. The more carefully you open the box, the easier it will be to pack the machine back. Next we do the following:

1. We inspect the body of the washing machine for scratches, dents and other damage. Open the hatch and check the large elastic band (cuff). Check the powder receptacle to ensure there is no damage either outside or inside.
2. Inspect the control panel. The program selector and buttons must be intact. If damage is discovered, you must immediately notify the seller.
3. On the back wall of the machine body, around the service hatch, find four shipping bolts and carefully unscrew them. Plug the resulting holes with plugs.

Be careful not to lose the shipping bolts. In the future, they may be required when transporting the machine yourself.

Now you need to find a suitable place to install the washing machine. The operating instructions for this brand of washing machine indicate that the location must be suitable.What does it mean?

• The base under the body of the Indesit WISL 82 washing machine should be as strong as possible. So the floor needs to be strengthened before installation.
• The walls of the housing should not touch other interior items (the gap should be at least 1 cm).
• The connection points of the washing machine to the water supply, sewerage and electrical networks should be in close proximity to the body (ideally 1-1.5 meters).

Having connected the “home assistant”, perform one wash cycle correctly. This must be done to clean the insides of the machine from machine oil, and possibly some debris that could get into the bowels of the equipment during assembly. How to do it?

1. Open the powder receptacle and pour a little washing powder into the middle compartment.
2. We close the powder receptacle, and then, using a special program selection knob, set any long-term mode at a temperature close to boiling - 90 degrees. In this case, you cannot put laundry into the drum.
3. We wait for the washing to finish and that’s it, the machine is ready for use as usual.

Where and how to pour detergents?

If you care about the quality of your laundry, learn not only how to dose detergents correctly, but also how to distribute them inside the powder receptacle. If you open the powder tray, you will see three main compartments and one additional compartment that can be installed as needed. We will count the compartments from left to right.

• The first compartment, which is located on the left edge, is intended for pre-washing. If the program you choose does not include pre-wash, there is no need to add powder.
• The second compartment, which is located in the middle, is intended for the main wash. We pour powder or liquid there in all cases.
• The third compartment, which is located on the right edge, is necessary in order to pour fabric softener and other similar additives there.
• The fourth compartment is installed directly inside compartment No. 1 and is needed if you are going to use bleach when washing.

Remember! Aggressive bleaches can ruin fabric.

Don't add too much powder. In this case, its residues will contaminate the powder receptacle and clog the washing machine pipes. Indesit WISL 82 instructions contain a ban on the use of hand washing powder. This situation is known to everyone. But we would like to add on our own that you need to pay attention to the quality of the powder. The better the powder dissolves and the less dust it generates, the better quality washing it will provide.

If you need to run a pre-wash, make sure that compartment 4 is removed. If you only need to run bleaching, then insert compartment 4. In the middle of this compartment there is a small jar into which you should pour the bleach. After this, you can close the powder receptacle and start the program.

Programs and features

The Indesit WISL 82 manual contains a description of all programs and functions supported by the machine. Each program is used in its own case depending on the things loaded into the drum, how dirty the things are and other parameters. Let's look at these programs in order.

1. Cotton, first mode at high temperature 90⁰C. They are washing very dirty white cotton underwear. When implementing a program, the pre-wash is started first, then the main wash, then rinse and spin. Add powder and conditioner. Implementation time 137 minutes.
2. Cotton, second mode at 90⁰S. It differs from the first one only in the absence of pre-washing and the possibility of bleaching, but everything is exactly the same. Implementation time 120 minutes.
3. Cotton, third program at 60⁰C. More in demand because it is used when it is necessary to wash white cotton or mixed laundry, as well as strongly colored items with heavy and medium degrees of soiling. The program includes a main wash, rinsing and spinning, and possibly bleaching. You can add conditioner. Implementation time 105 minutes.
4. Cotton, fourth program at 40⁰C. It differs from the third mode only in water temperature. However, this difference is significant, since even faded colored items that are lightly soiled can be washed using this mode. Implementation time 72 minutes.
5. Cotton, fifth mode at 30⁰C. Complete analogue of the fourth program. The only difference is the temperature and, as a result, the quality of washing. The instructions recommend using this mode only for highly faded colored items. Implementation time 65 minutes.
6. Synthetics, sixth program at 60⁰C or at 40⁰C. Here you can select the washing temperature. The mode includes the main wash with the addition of powder and conditioner, rinse, and delicate spin. Suitable for washing heavily soiled synthetic clothing with durable coloring. Implementation time is 77 minutes at sixty degrees and 62 minutes at forty degrees.
7. Synthetics, seventh program at 50⁰C. Basic wash program, rinse, gentle spin.Add powder and conditioner. We wash heavily soiled, well-dyed clothes. Implementation time 73 minutes.
8. Synthetics, program eight at 40⁰C. Similar to the previous one with the only difference that you can wash only lightly soiled, but any colored synthetic clothing. Implementation time 58 minutes.

For your information! Each of the above washing programs for synthetic laundry allows you to turn on the water stop and delicate whitening functions.

9. Synthetics, program nine at 30⁰C. Any colored clothing can be washed. The whitening function does not work. Implementation time 30 minutes.
10. Wool, tenth at 40⁰C. This program involves the same washing steps with the option of stopping with water. You can wash woolen or mixed items. You can use conditioner. Implementation time 50 minutes.
11. Delicate fabrics (silk, viscose, etc.), eleventh program at 30 degrees. Similar to the previous one except for the washing and spinning temperature. Spinning is not possible with this program.

In addition to the above washing modes, the Indesit WISL 82 washing machine includes partial programs that can be activated if necessary. We are talking about rinsing, gentle rinsing, spinning, gentle spinning and draining. Also, if necessary, you can use one of the functions: whitening, light ironing, additional rinsing, excluding spinning.

Other modes and starting washing

• Open the powder receptacle and add detergent and conditioner.
• Press the Start/Reset button, holding it for 2 seconds, and the washing will begin.

Indesit WISL 82 allows you to activate a special program, which is traditionally very popular among users - everyday washing for 30 minutes. With its help, you can quickly refresh lightly soiled clothes without wasting extra time, electricity and water.

Don't forget to keep an eye on your machine

When using your “home assistant”, do not forget to monitor its technical condition so that in the future an unexpected breakdown does not knock you “out of your usual rut” of home life. First of all, close the tee tap after each wash so that the plumbing system of the machine does not wear out. Do not forget to wipe and wash the hatch cuff and other rubber bands of the washing machine. Periodically remove and wash the powder receptacle so that any remaining powder does not dry to its internal surfaces.

To prevent mold from forming inside the washer, do not tightly close the hatch door after washing. At least once every 6 months, remove the bottom front panel of the washing machine to clean the debris filter. A large amount of different dirt and small objects usually get into it, from threads and pellets to coins and paper clips. Inspect the inlet hose once a year. If you find any cracks or leaks, replace the part immediately.

   Good afternoon. I have this problem with my Indesit wi82 washing machine. You set wash mode 4, water 40 degrees, the UBL turns on, water is poured in. And then it merges a little and that’s it. After 3-5 seconds it starts to erase. But the program selection knob immediately turns. There are three stop points on the selector, reset. So, the handle turns, the washing goes on. I turned off the power button, set it to reset, turned it on and everything happened again. Two stop resets do not turn off, the top one worked. The sunroof and power indicator does not blink. What is the reason?
