Which washing machine is better: Ariston or Indesit?

The line of washing machines of the Indesit brand is presented on the domestic market in a wide range and at an affordable price. Along with the well-known inexpensive brand, domestic consumers, thanks to a wide advertising campaign, are offered more expensive, but quite similar units under the Hotpoint Ariston trademark. Accordingly, a reasonable question arises about how they are similar and how they differ. Washing machine Ariston or Indesit: it’s time to understand the intricacies and find out which is better.

Detailed differences between Ariston and Indesit

Before answering the questions posed in the introduction in detail, the masters suggest not being lazy and seeing everything from the inside, i.e. disassemble equipment from both brands. 6. Valves. These consumables are identical to Indesit.

If we take into account that the models are assembled in domestic factories, then it is not difficult to make a choice between the quality of an expensive one and its cheaper counterpart.

Typical disadvantages of Ariston and Indesit machines

We offer a short overview of typical problems inherent in domestically assembled units. The data we provide is based on the experience of our technicians and other service centers.

Like any household appliance, washing machines of the Hotpoint Ariston and Indesit brands are subject to breakdowns. The most common cause of failure is bearing failure. It is this type of component that is recognized as one of the weak points of the brands in question. With an average intensity of use of washing machines (2-3 times a week), bearings, in 25% of cases, wear out in approximately two years.

After analyzing all the probable causes of this phenomenon, experts came to the conclusion that the problem was caused by the long spin process. By installing components of the exact size and high quality, the problem could be half solved. For comparison, we can cite a Samsung brand washing machine designed to process 5.5 kg of dry clothes. It also contains bearings 203 and 204. Despite this, this consumable is replaced after 5-10 years. This inclusion is necessary so that the pump “throws out” water in a small amount and controls the presence of such a phenomenon as “gravity flow”. But with high water pressure, the short time period allotted for diagnostics and the start of the laundry washing program does not allow the excess volume of liquid to drain (15-20 seconds), which causes a malfunction of the machines. To get rid of such a phenomenon as gravity, you can use a simple action - raising the drain hose to the previously designated height.

Having dealt with the drainage problems, you need to point out one more drawback - “intolerance” to hard water. Not only Indesites and Aristons react negatively to the increased hardness of the water environment in which washing is carried out. However, these are the brands that are the most sensitive and capricious. For users of the above brands of household appliances, it is recommended not to put off the issue of using water softeners. It is not difficult to choose a good product; the range on the market allows you to do so.
