Children love beautiful and unusual toys. As a parent, I know that a trip to the store is never complete without a request to buy some new soft friend. Often you can delight your baby not only with store-bought toys. It will be more useful for the child and more interesting for both of you to knit an interesting character yourself. You can show your baby how you do it, which will be very educational for him.
Today we will knit a charming snail, and you will need the following:

- acrylic or any other hypoallergenic threads in three different colors. You can take from a single color scheme, as I did, or you can make a bright, completely multi-colored one, as you like.
- suitable hook;
- scissors, needles and thread;
- synthetic fluff for stuffing;
- beads for eyes.

Unusual snail

The Amigurumi loop allows you to make the fabric whole, without a hole in the middle, so we start knitting with it. We tie the loop with five single crochets.

Then we pull them together into a single circle and tie them in several rows, adding five new single crochets in each row. It is important that the new columns are evenly distributed throughout the entire row, so the circle will smoothly expand.We knit until the diameter seems sufficient to you for our snail to be ready.

After this, we knit rows without any additions, creating a small bag. Having tied it to a sufficient height so that the head is round, we begin to narrow our rows so that the ball closes. This is done in the same way as the process of adding loops, only instead of the second loop in the bottom column, during the tying process, you need to evenly skip five bottom columns in each row. Leave a small hole and fill the ball with synthetic fluff.

Then we continue to tie the hole left so that it begins to lengthen. This will be the body of the snail. So that it stands in the middle and at the end we fill it with synthetic fluff. This allows you to make small protuberances that will serve as makeshift legs so that the snail can stand upright at the end.
Just like we knitted the head, we knit two small hemispheres. They will become the horns of our snail.

We sew the horns to the head and sew on the eyes of the snail with beads.

In the same way as the head was knitted, we knit a snail shell. Only it should be more elongated. I made it striped and stuffed it with synthetic down.

Sew the body to the shell and you're done.
