As a result of some deliberation, it was decided to decorate the ceiling and walls with PVC panels with preliminary insulation of all surfaces facing the street.
To begin with, we needed dowel nails with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 40 mm.
It is necessary to attach galvanized metal hangers to these dowel-nails.
Using a hammer drill, holes are punched in the ceiling and walls into which dowel-nails are driven to firmly hold the hangers.
Slats measuring 25x40 mm are securely attached to the hangers.
Next, we cut the thermal insulation material. In this case, 30 mm thick foam is used.
The cavities between the slats are filled with polystyrene foam.
We do the same procedure with all the walls.
Next, we carefully cut the panels for the ceiling and begin to sew them to the slats using a construction stapler.
The ceiling is ready and already shines with a bright gloss.
At the customer's request, a clothes dryer is mounted to the ceiling.Special slats were provided for it at the required distance.
Now we begin to finish the walls. For this purpose, PVC panels with a photographic imitation of Egyptian papyrus were chosen.
To ensure a tighter fit of the panels, you can periodically tap them with a hammer through a soft backing.
A white finishing corner is installed in the corners.
The perimeter of the ceiling and all difficult places are also neatly trimmed with a white plastic corner. This gives the room lightness and graphics.
To frame the window sill, the corner is cut lengthwise and only a flat strip is used for finishing.
The door slope is also carefully finished with a decorative corner.
At the end, a clothes dryer with threads and a system for lowering and lifting clothes is installed.
The balcony became warm, quiet and beautiful. And now it pleases its owners and causes exclamations of delight from all guests.
