Cute handmade cards are always a pleasure to give and receive. present. This type of creativity not only lifts the mood, but also has a positive effect on fine motor skills. Therefore, even children will benefit from completing this master class, but only under the supervision and help of their parents.

To make a postcard we will need:
- Board for work. It will be more convenient to cut paper and cut out small parts. In addition, the table will not suffer from your creativity;
- Colored paper of different shades. Any colors can be used. I chose paper in one color scheme, but you can use more contrasting solutions as you like;
- Scissors;
- Good paper glue, so that all the details of the postcard are sure to be glued together;
- Scalpel knife. I recently purchased a whole set at a stationery store. If you don’t have such a knife, you can use an ordinary construction knife, but then you will need more skill and accuracy;
- And a pencil to draw all the details of the postcard.

Easter card using Kirigami technique

We start everything by making the base of our postcard. A thicker sheet of paper is suitable for it, which must be cut into two equal parts.We will make a postcard from only one half, from the second you will then make another postcard.

Fold half the sheet in half. Here our base is ready.

Now take a sheet of paper that is more contrasting in color and cut out a rectangle of the same size as the postcard.

Draw arcs on this rectangle using a pencil. It should look like half a cloud.

Let's cut out our half cloud. This rectangle with a simple pattern will act as a background in our postcard. Therefore, we glue it onto our postcard with a slight indentation from the fold.

Then take a light-colored sheet and draw an Easter bunny on it.

To prevent the card from being too boring, I decided to add a color different from the main color scheme. So I drew a butterfly on yellow paper and cut it out.

Let's cut out our rabbit. Make sure that all the stripes on our Easter bunny are cut out too. Through these slits, a brighter color will appear, and the rabbit will look three-dimensional. Then, together with the butterfly, we glue it onto the card.

The result is such a gentle and sweet card, which is nice to give as a gift to your parents on this bright and kind holiday.
