I came across small dried decorative pumpkins that had been lying unused for a long time - and I decided to use them to “decorate” my home.
So, I have pumpkins, avocado pits, a lot of dried flowers, acrylic paints, glitter gel and a great desire to create something useless but beautiful. I painted the pumpkins with gold acrylic paint, smearing it over the surface with my finger. I did the same with the avocado pit.
One of the pumpkins was very funny - all “bumpy”, and the gold paint on it looked especially attractive. I decided to make a small decorative tree from this fruit - I punched a hole in the dry thin crust, shook out the insides (there is little pulp in these types of pumpkins, and it dries out quickly), took a small coffee cup, poured plaster into it with a pencil, onto which, like a trunk tree, put on a pumpkin.
The largest pumpkin was decorated with glitter gel designs.Even small children can draw simple patterns - ask them to help, and they will be happy to do it.
Now all this “wealth” needs to be placed somewhere in order to create a complete composition from it. We need to take beautiful plates, flat vases, baskets or even boxes, and place our creativity in them with a generous hand, not forgetting to intersperse pumpkins with flowers, adding pine cones, glass balls, and suitable Christmas tree decorations. By the way, you can put the cones either plain or tinted with stain of different shades - it turns out very elegant (I got burgundy cones). These simple home decorations can be made in just 20 minutes.
