The secret to making slime lies in the proportion of ingredients. To mix them, you do not need any special conditions or equipment, only measuring containers that can be used to dose the drugs. Required ingredients for slime
To make slime we will need:
- Borax - borax (sodium tetraborate), it can be bought at the pharmacy;
- Liquid transparent glue (Elmer's Liquid School Glue), school grade, ideal for slime;
- Green and yellow food coloring.
You can mix and prepare the substance in any convenient container that is suitable in size for kneading by hand. You will need three of them.
We'll make Slime ourselves
We will mix the components in two containers. To begin, pour 250 grams of water into one. Add half a teaspoon of borax. Mix everything very thoroughly.
Pour 125 grams of water into another container. then 150 grams of glue. Mix everything very well too.
To give a green acid color, add 2 drops of green, 5 drops of yellow dye, and mix it all thoroughly.
The saturated color should be something like this:
If you are not satisfied, adjust by adding dye, but do not overdo it.
Now mix the contents of both containers.
As a result, you should receive a substance with the properties of a Newtonian fluid, which you can immediately test in action. It should not stick to your hands, be overly hard and lose its exceptional viscosity.
Take the mucus and put it in a bowl.
And the remaining liquid in the mixing bowl can simply be poured out.
The result was an excellent toy, no worse than one from the store.
If the slime is too liquid, you can dry it a little by pouring it into a kind of campi.
A couple of tens of minutes and it will change its consistency.
Laboratory container for slime
