In the warm season, a house or apartment can be decorated with fresh flowers and other natural materials. We put together the composition, and the room became beautiful. What about in winter? How to decorate the room so that it is elegant, stylish, and creative? Pine cones will come to the rescue. A foray into the forest should be done in the fall, preferably before the onset of cold weather. And collect more cones. At home, they need to be laid out in one layer near the radiator and dried. When the scales become brittle, this will mean that the material is ready for use. Dried pine cones should be painted with white spray paint. You should work in a utility room or at least on a staircase. After the paint is completely dry, you can start creating.

Try making a spiral like this

DIY winter decor

It looks amazing, but it takes a lot of effort to create.
First, take a piece of MDF and cut it into a circle with a diameter of 1 meter. At this stage, it is better to seek help from a man.
Then you need to make holes in the circle, arranging them in a spiral. You should start from the center, gradually moving towards the edge.To make the spiral neat, first draw marks for the holes with a pencil (approximate number - 100). If you've never used construction power tools, get a man to do the work again. He knows exactly how to operate a drill.
Next, cover the circle with the same white paint that was left after painting the cones. Then glue 1 long thread into each hole. The ends of the threads are fixed to the circle with hot silicone from a heat gun. Thread 1 blue bead into each thread and secure at the base. The frame is ready!

Now you need to secure the cones. Find the center thread and cut it as short as possible. Glue a pine cone to the end, tip down. Moving in a spiral, find the second thread and cut it 5 cm longer than the first. Glue a cone to the end of the thread. So gradually move forward, gluing natural material.

When the central part is formed, glue the pine cones onto the threads in a circle. First, all remaining threads must be trimmed to the same length.

The result is such a magnificent craft that literally attracts the eye.

Balls in a flowerpot

If you still have cones left, you can use them to make balls in flowerpots.
To do this, take a white plastic container and glue a rubber ball in the center. Then cover it with cones. They are securely fixed with liquid nails.

The second ball can be made a little smaller.
