In this article I will talk about how to make a Kacher Brovina with relatively low power and the same set of parts. So what is a “kacher”? At its core, it is similar to a Tesla coil, which is a resonant transformer with the help of which you can obtain a huge high-frequency voltage and, therefore, a strong electromagnetic field that has quite interesting properties. And so let’s leave the words and move on to the actual process of assembling the installation.
But of course, before you assemble something, you need to understand how it works and what it is assembled from.
Here is the installation diagram.

The circuit is powered by a 220 V network voltage, which, before moving on to the main generator part of the camera, is rectified through diode D1 and lowered by means of a choke; as a choke I used a 12 volt transformer that is turned on by a 220 winding; in other words, we take two wires to which the network is connected to the transformer 220 and one of them is also connected to 220 and the second goes to power the quality device to capacitor C1.Now let's move on to resistors, R2 can be used with medium power, I used a Soviet medium-sized one, as for R1, I simply did not have such a value available and I used 4 x 12 KOhms of high power and all the resistors remained cold even after long work. Now let's touch on the transistor with the most scarce part of the installation. KT828 can be taken only as a last resort if it is not possible to get imported ones, namely, the Panasonic C5244A transistor showed excellent work, but don’t repeat my mistakes, don’t try to remove the choke or install a very small one, in my case I removed it altogether and the transistor exploded quite a bit. You can use 2SA1943 and similar ones with the same voltage and current parameters; the transistor, as usual, in these cases is placed on the radiator.
Here are all the electronics.

We solder everything according to the diagram and this is what I got

Now the main part is not very technological and terribly boring. We wind coil L1 (primary) with copper wire with a diameter of at least 5 mm. About 5-7 turns, the diameter of the coil is approximately 14 cm.

Now, what many people don’t undertake to assemble such installations is winding L2 (secondary) Plastic pipe with a diameter of 5 cm, a height of 25-30 cm, more can be done if you have enough patience. I wound two coils with wire of different diameters
The first is with a wire of 0.2-0.3 and a height of 25 cm.

And with a diameter of 0.5-0.8 mm and a height of 35 cm.

(The light on the left is just a light fixture. This is not a kacher effect)
Still, we managed to get more effect from the second coil, due to the obviously larger area.

And now we actually assemble it as in the photo above and below.

The first start (if everything works) do not delay; first, turn it on for 1-2 minutes and watch how the transistor and other parts heat up so as not to overheat them during prolonged operation.
Do not even think about touching all metal parts; it is dangerous for life!
So everything worked for me the first time I turned it on, if everything was done correctly, you will have the same thing. If not. Change the ends of the primary, check whether the transistor and diode are “alive”
Now this is actually why we did all this, the effects that can be obtained
1. Corona discharge
This is a discharge that comes off the free end of the secondary which should be sharpened, it’s better to take a needle. It looks very beautiful, purple crown. The corona discharge creates the so-called electric wind, i.e. you can notice a slight breeze smelling of ozone, and the so-called “ion engine” is assembled from this effect. If you touch the discharge with your finger, there will be no pain because... how a high-frequency current passes over the surface of the skin, some sources say that it has a beneficial vasodilating effect and is almost a panacea that saves from all diseases; personally, I didn’t notice anything other than the smallest burn and a little smoke from my finger. But Nikola Tesla, who actually discovered high-frequency current and subjected his body to discharges, lived to be 86 years old. But I still do not recommend abusing such experiments. Yes, and the discharge begins to come out of the knife in your hand if you bring it to the turns of the secondary. Also, the discharge has a high temperature; in the vicinity, the lighter gas easily ignites and you can even make a thin piece of paper smolder.

The camera does not convey the beauty of this phenomenon well
2. RF Field
We are talking about the electromagnetic field that surrounds the pitcher, this is a high frequency field. In fact, it doesn't do anything magical. Although it may seem like a miracle to the “uninitiated.” If you take a gas-discharge lamp in your hand, bring it to the kacher, it will light up in your hands and quite brightly, I easily lit two lamps with a power of even 36W, while the effect of certain stripes was observed in the lamp; it also looks quite beautiful (for those who dreamed of play star wars)
Here is an 18W lamp

4x6W

Lighting, two 18W each

Also, using the same field, it is possible to demonstrate the effect of transmitting electricity over a distance without wires. To do this, you need another coil, preferably with exactly the same parameters (number of turns, wire cross-section, etc.) in this case you can achieve a much better effect. We assemble the backup coil and install it in the same way as the emitting coil. The difference is that a diode bridge is connected to the primary outputs

It is necessary to take high-frequency diodes, due to the fact that I did not have such on hand, it was not possible to check this effect, but in the secondary there was voltage, this was indicated by discharges that could be pulled out of the backup.
That's actually all I wanted to say about this device.

The author does not bear any responsibility for your life and health, voltage of 220V is dangerous to life, before assembly it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with safety precautions. The HF field surrounding the pitcher also has a harmful effect. I advise you to take breaks.

Good luck to those wishing to repeat!

cool, but I’m not friends with transformers, please clarify the details. wink
or better yet, write down all the details you recommend.

    transistor C5244A from Panasonic
A diode is more helpful, a capacitor with a larger capacity
    Everything is in the article

From the cash register power supply it seems (it was a long time ago)
It is for 12 and 24 volts, but just 12 will also work

Tell me, my friend... what is the second coil on the pipe?...
And how is it included in the scheme?

I just initially had the desire to wind it with thin wire, but didn’t have the patience. Don't pay any attention to her.

After connecting this device to the network, the discharge is 2 cm, then decreases. The discharge decreases due to the back EMF of the trance. I went without a dance - I burned out a transistor and probably a diode, I haven’t looked yet, but it worked well. The 20A fuse in the pilot blew. wink
