Sometimes such a nuisance as breaking a light bulb. For many people, removing the cap from the cartridge is a real headache.
How to unscrew the socket of a broken lamp

Today I want to give advice on this almost hopeless case. The main thing in this matter is to make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the network. It is necessary to be as careful as possible when repairing an electrical appliance so as not to get an electric shock!

Would need

Any plastic bottle (preferably a smaller one, for convenience).
A heating device (e.g. a hotplate).

Unscrew the broken lamp holder

So, taking all the precautions, not forgetting to use rubber gloves, let's get to work. It would be nice to first remove the cartridge from the device, for further convenience ... First, clean the stuck base from the glass fragments remaining there, so as not to cut yourself during work. Now we heat the thread of the prepared bottle until the plastic melts and, as quickly as possible, screw the thread straight into the broken base!

Now you need to wait a couple of minutes for the molten plastic inside the base. After cooling, carefully turning the bottle in the right direction, remove the cap from the cartridge.

That's all! Next, screw in a new light bulb, and use it further, not forgetting caution!

Since the 80s, it has been easy and simple to do this with the base of a new lamp inserted at an angle into the old base (with cartridges of at least E27, at least E14, even E40). Naturally not energized. Only heavily welded ones (which were not twisted with pliers) did not twist too
