  • - 1.5 kilograms of tomatoes;
  • - 3 tablespoons of salt;
  • - 5 tablespoons of sugar;
  • - 50 grams of vegetable oil;
  • - 50 grams of 9% vinegar;
  • - a teaspoon of mustard;
  • - head of garlic;
  • - a bunch of dill (green).

The sequence of preparation of salted tomatoes


1. Prepare a deep, roomy pot. The container must be clean and dry. Rinse the tomatoes. It is best to use approximately equal fruits so that they are salted evenly. Each tomato needs to be cut in half. Put all the slices of tomatoes in a pan.

2. Finely chop dill with a sharp knife. Put the mass in a deep bowl. You can even grind dill with a blender.

3. Pass the cloves of garlic through a press or grate. Put the garlic gruel in a cup with dill. It is good to use young garlic, as it is very fragrant and juicy.

4. Pour salt and sugar into a container with aromatic ingredients.

5. Next, pour the vinegar and oil into the bowl after the dry ingredients. Add mustard for lightness. Mix everything thoroughly.

6. Pour all the resulting mass into a pan with tomatoes.

7. Top cover the pan with a lid. Press lightly on top with your hands and shake pan several times. So that the tomatoes are completely saturated with filling. Put the pan for three hours in the refrigerator. After that, light-salted tomatoes can already be eaten!

    This is very important and necessary - finely chop the greens with a SHARP knife and spread ONLY in a deep bowl (see paragraph 2 of the instructions).
    Otherwise, the dish will not work. :)
