Water-repellent coating of shoes

Shoes must be clean and completely dry before coating. Depends on how well the coating layer lies.
Now we take a candle in our hand and rub it abundantly over the entire surface of the shoe.

We rub well on all sides. If there are small gaps, then it is especially walked several times, preferably directly along these gaps. We also strenuously pass seams and other joints.

Next, take a hair dryer, turn it on at maximum temperature. We set the air speed to a minimum. And we begin by this heat to warm the entire surface where paraffin was applied.

During this heat treatment, paraffin melts and is absorbed into the surface, seams and gaps, thereby sealing the entire surface.
In the process of heating, the effect and coating can be enhanced by additionally rubbing the candle into a heated surface.

    1) wax will be better than paraffin
    2) good aerosol products do the same thing, but not in an hour or two that you spend on phenoparaffinization, but in 5 minutes. And they cost up to 200r per spray can.
So, the method is certainly working and correct, but too labor-consuming.

Here are just modern candles not from paraffin, but often from stearin or something else.

The product from the spray does not spoil the appearance of the shoe. Look at what shoes were and what onpies turned into. Horror! The dirt may roll off, but the appearance is as if the boot is dirty.Plus paraffin is not so elastic. Especially at moon temperature. Cracks in the seams and joints when walking, and the effect disappears

Nonsense! In the process of walking, “cracks” and “bumps” immediately appear in the places where the shoes are bent. Any shoes, even if they are new, look like pretty worn and cracked.
... well, yes, but the water repels ...

The most ideal and optimal option is to cover the shoes with goose fat and leave to dry overnight. Preferably in a warm place. Citizens can buy fat or order in the market.

Pork fat can also be processed, the same effect.
