Many people know the bright, cheerful and very dynamic cartoon Om Nom. Not all parents have the opportunity to buy an expensive Om Nom toy, so we suggest knitting it.
You will need:
- Leftover green yarn.
- A little white yarn and some black.
- Needle.
- Hook No. 2-3.

Step-by-step knitting toys Om Nom
We begin to knit the base for Om Nom, knit 6 sc in a circle. In the second row, knit 2 sc in each previous stitch. From the 3rd – 5th row, make additions of 6 sc.
Now we knit without additions.
A simple ball is inserted as a base so that Om Nom can jump. If you don’t have a ball, you can fill it with cotton wool.
Decrease, 6 sc in each row.
Completely close the ball and hide the rest of the yarn.
At the top, knit 6 sc. In the second row there are 9 sc and so on for several rows. To knit a mustache, you need to increase to 12 sc, then knit 2 rows without increasing.
Fill with cotton wool.
Legs: knit 6 sc in a circle, second row 2 sc, 3-4 row without increments.
Sew to the base, make 3 more legs.
Base for the eyes: a simple circle of sc, the size you need. In this master class there are 6 sc in a circle, the second row is 2 sc in each previous single crochet. After that, several additions of 6 sc in each row are knitted.
Sew on the base for the eyes.
Stitch the mouth with a needle and thick black yarn.
All that remains is to tie the teeth. Select thin white yarn and knit 3 sc from the base of black yarn, connect all the stitches with a common top in the second row. Knit a few teeth.
