Budget workplace lighting

The eternal question: “How to make something good and of high quality from practically nothing?” I will offer you a way to make high-quality lighting for your table or workbench. Such a lamp can be located either at your home or in a garage or workshop.

Necessary materials

You don't need as much as it might seem at first glance. And in the end, the result of the backlight will definitely please you.
  • LED strip for 12 with adapter or LED strip 220 V.
  • Thin aluminum profile. You can try using plastic from plastic trim, the main thing is that it does not bend.
  • Chain or rope for hanging the lamp from the ceiling.
  • Hooks, bolts, nuts.

I took a 12 V strip, since sometimes the power goes out and I power the backlight from the battery.

Lamp assembly

We decide on the size of the lamp, taking into account the illumination area. Next, assemble the lamp from the profile, tightening the short sections with screws and nuts.

The light is magnificent. Plus, if you noticed, I have a highlighted cable channel of the mains voltage box, just above the table.

When choosing an LED strip, if you do not have it in stock, pay attention to the quantity LEDs per meter, the power of one meter, and the shade of the glow - cold or warm.
Taking these parameters into account, select the power of the power supply to power the 12-volt tape.
