Autumn is the time not only for wonderful forest photo shoots, but also for autumn crafts, which are expected from us in kindergartens and schools. The main thing in this matter is originality. In order to achieve 100% originality, you can make a robotic ladybug from a nutshell. You won't be able to find anything like this anywhere on other sites.
Robot ladybug

You will need:

  • - nut shell;
  • - vibration alert motor from any working or non-working phone;
  • - small slide switch;
  • - two AG13 batteries;
  • - syringe 5 cm. cu. as a battery compartment;
  • - some wire;
  • - soldering iron and solder (preferably);
  • - hot glue;
  • - nail polishes or paints.

The vibration motor can be removed from any non-working phone, since they themselves break down extremely rarely. Surely you or your friends have a phone that is no longer practical to repair. Such a motor has two terminals and its polarity does not matter, i.e. it makes no difference where to connect the plus and where the minus.
Robot ladybug

The first wire is soldered to one of the motor contacts and the central contact of the switch. Such switches are installed in almost all Chinese toys with batteries.If suddenly you couldn’t find anything similar at home, then you can buy it at a radio parts store.
It is indeed possible to do without a soldering iron: just carefully tape the wires to the contacts and secure them with hot glue, but then the connection will not be as reliable as with soldering.

Cut off the tip of the syringe and shorten it so that two batteries fit.

To ensure good contact between the batteries and the wires, simply press them well and secure them with a small amount of electrical tape or tape.

Now you should solder the wires coming from the batteries to the free contact of the motor and any of the outer contacts of the switch. That's all the electronics of our autumn crafts.

Everything should fit inside the shell. The motor should be placed in the part where the ladybug’s “head” will be. Make sure that no parts protrude beyond the bottom plane.
Robot ladybug

Once everything is in place and you are sure the motor is working, you can secure the pieces in place with a little hot glue.
Everything is very simple with coloring. First we cover the shell with a layer of red varnish. Then we paint our ladybug’s head and dots with black varnish. When everything is dry, you can draw the eyes.
Robot ladybug

We guarantee that your child’s autumn craft will cause surprise and delight among both children and teachers. This ladybug moves very funny.
