Autumn time is beautiful in its own way. Golden foliage covers the streets, bright orange clusters of mountain ash adorn the city alleys. And also autumn is a time of harvest, harvesting. Today's master class is for fans to decorate their home, because we will make an autumn bouquet of felt. Such a bouquet can be put on the table, on the windowsill or shelf for books. To prepare this decoration, we need materials.
- Sheets of soft felt (red, yellow, orange, gray, lime and green).
- Decorative bunches of mountain ash, straws, apples, insects.
- Contour (gold, black).
- Clay "Moment".
- Pastel.
- Wire.
- Styrofoam.
- Satin ribbon (Bordeaux color).
- Decorative braid (gold, silver).
- Cardboard.
DIY bouquet making
So, let's get down to business and set about making leaves. To do this, on a cardboard, draw three types of autumn leaves (birch, oak, maple). Cut out patterns from cardboard. Having attached to felt, circle them and also cut. In total there should be about 7 - 8 leaves. I made two dark green, one light green, two yellow, and one each of red gray and orange felt.
Now attach a small piece of wire on top of the sheet, bend the sheet in half and fix the wire with a thread (make a seam).
Glue the remaining leg of the sheet with glue.
Next, we shade the leaves with pastel crayons. On the edge of the orange leaf shade with red chalk, shade the red and green leaves in black. Paint the yellow leaves with orange, gray and light green paint along the edge in green. Something like this should happen.
The leaves are almost ready, but so far they do not look very good. After we apply veins to them, they will look more natural.
Apply a black outline first, then a gold one. Leave the leaves to dry. In the meantime, we will proceed to the base on which our bouquet will be attached.
Cut a small cube from foam or dense foam. Place it on the cardboard and cut out a square of cardboard slightly larger than the cube along the edge by 1-1.5 cm. Glue the bottom of the cube and cardboard together.
Wrap a cube with a satin ribbon, glue it. On the top edge, attach decorative braid (silver), and on the bottom of the cardboard a gold ribbon.
It remains only to collect the bouquet together. Bend the wire on the leaves, giving them a natural bend. Gently stick the wire ends of the leaves into the foam, placing them in a circle. In the center, place clusters of mountain ash also on the wire. Put a miniature apple on the wire and stick it on the side of the mountain ash. Stick a bug on a green leaf. To prevent the white bottom of the polystyrene from showing up, place a straw of burgundy or green under the leaves. Now our autumn bouquet of felt for table decoration is ready completely.
