To make a rug with a picture from an old computer game made up of pixel squares, you need only a little patience.
From ordinary plain square rugs, you can make your own unique carpet in the style of pixel art.

Gather materials and design

For this work you will need:

Multi-colored rugs - the photo shows soft and shaggy rugs with a split pile, you can choose something else.

Twine - it will take a lot, possibly more than 100 m.

Needles - in fact, you only need one, but it can get lost ... so keep a couple more in reserve.

Retractable blade knife and several spare blades.

Measuring tape.

• Bend the needle or use ready-made semicircular needles, then it will be easier for you to stick it.
  
• Sharpen the tip of the needle so that it fits more easily into the hard tissue.
  
• Take your time - the process will still take quite a lot of time, so do not try to do everything at once.
