We decorate a white T-shirt with our own hands

Handwork, as well as individual decorappreciated by fashionistas all over the world. But you can decorate a T-shirt with your own hands. For this, the remains of lace, a small piece of fabric of a contrasting color (for example, denim) and everything that the fantasy tells you will come in handy.
The use of slots in the decor is also very popular. The main thing here is not to overdo it.

Tools and materials:

• cotton T-shirt;
  
• denim (18 cm x 15 cm);
  
• beads (for metal);
  
• semi-pearls are white;
  
• lace - 20 cm;
  
• braid-wave - 25 cm;
  
• chain - 15 cm;
  
• white threads;
  
• scissors.
  

Work instructions

Using scissors, deepen the neck. To do this, cut the braid near the cutout. For convenience, you can first outline the proposed cut line.

Now we will make a heart template. We use a sheet from an ordinary notebook for this. Draw a heart, cut it out. In order for it to come out of the correct form, the sheet should be folded in half.

We attach a paper heart to denim. Circle with chalk, cut out.

We remember the place where we want to place the decor element. We turn the shirt on the wrong side. Pin the jeans heart with tailor's needles.

Sew the heart with a machine (or manual) stitch.

We turn the shirt on the front side. Using sharp-pointed scissors we make incisions on the shirt. We place them inside the contour of the heart and in the horizontal direction.

Decorate the neck of our shirt. To do this, we make 3 cm cuts along the entire neck. We place them perpendicular to the cut line.

With the help of a thread we tighten the resulting stripes at the gate in a checkerboard pattern. We perform the operation around the circle.


It remains to complement the composition on the chest with decorative elements. In a chaotic manner, we sew beads and semi-pearls. From the lace we form a semicircle. On top of it we sew a bow from a braid. We fix the chain with several stitches at the opposite ends.
