Decor of mittens "Cat's feet"

It would seem that only the summer has begun, but before we have time to look around, the snow-white, cold winter will come again. As the popular saying goes, “Prepare a sleigh in the summer, and a cart in the winter,” this means that you need to prepare for everything in advance. Therefore, you need to sew, for example, funny mittens in the form of cat legs. They will save you from the cold and cheer you up.

For the decor of mittens, we need:
- mittens;
- pink felt;
- scissors;
- a pen;
- threads and a needle.

Note: it is better to take mittens in plain colors without any pattern; those colors that are considered natural colors for cats (white, gray, red, black) will also look good. It will be even better if you take down mittens, this will create a feeling of soft cat hair. If you don’t remember what the cat’s legs look like, then before you start drawing, look at the legs of your pet. But, if, however, there is no cat, then look at the image of paws on the Internet. So let's get started!
Step 1. On a pink felt we draw a so-called palm (5.5 cm wide and 4 cm high) and four cat pads (2 cm wide and 3 cm high). It is better to take felt with a soft texture.


Step 2. We make two preparations. Cut along the contour.

Step 3. For convenience, put a bent newspaper in the mitt. This is necessary in order not to accidentally flash through the mitt. We fasten the workpiece with pins on the inside of the mittens.

Step 4. We sew all the blanks with a sewing (buttonhole) seam. Select the threads to match the color of the felt. Try to ensure that the stitches are flat, neat and nothing is pulled together.
